Remember that SUPPLEMENTS accupies the third point of a triangle ,a sine qua non for any fitness programme. The other two points being, EXERCISE and DIET.
Re:supplements you should take a good multivitamin and multimineral eg Centrum.
Your protein should include, whey protein, aminoacids along with lean chicken and fish.
Creatine of the reputable Weider group of products is advisable. Today they are combining it with NO in Pump tech of Muscletech.
The only side effect that atheletes complain is that they tend to retain fluid with creatine, in which case a diuretic helps.

A quality creatine product (ie; 'creatamax', by Maximuscle) will help you gain some muscle. Take it first thing in the morning, on an empty stomach. That's all, although the label will advise taking it several times a day, that's just to boost their profits, you don't need any more, and your body will expel most of it anyway. No caffiene (coffee, tea, cola etc) for about an hour or so, because it diminishes the effect. Take it for about 6 weeks, then have 2 weeks off. Good luck.

Depends, if ur skinny, u may want to take creatine for the first couple months. What it does is basically produces (fake) fat. So that you burn that and not muscle gain. It pumps a watery substance into ur body, also makes ur veins pop out more.. lol. But when taking creatine u must work out or it will make u fatty. Just dont take it for too long as its not good for ur organs. But it will be okay if u are skinny and only take it for a couple months. As for protein first, just try eating red meats and fish, lots of fish! Eggs too. This is the healthier way to do it. Once you finish ur cycle of creatine, then maybe consider taking whey protein, you dont wanna shock ur body too much all at once.

Besides this change in eating style, take regular light exercises and brisk walks every day. U will be able to gain/shed all extra weight gracefully and in a reasonable time span.

Check other things out as well, like if you're drinking a 'Sports Drink', make sure it has NO aspartame in it.
That chemical is toxic, do a search for 'aspaartame + 92', to see te list of 92 side effects related to it.
