why would He let everybody enter STRAIGHT to heaven after they die without being punished for the crimes they have committed during their lifetime? some say they will go straight to heaven regardless of the weight of their sins, as long as they accepted Jesus. where's the sense of justice in that? why would those people be allowed to get away with impunity when they made so many people suffer during their lifetime, like those who committed murder, why do some people think they will ALL go STRAIGHT to heaven once they accepted Jesus and pray the "sinner's prayer"? do you mean to say, those victims and their adversaries will see each other in heaven? wouldn't that be hell for the victims rather than heaven?

for me, i think somehow they should be punished for the consequences of their crimes. that's justice.

if someone believes in God's REAL Justice, i think he/she can never comprehend why those "sinners" will go unpunished just because they've accepted Jesus.

screwdriver: i really think you don't have a sense of justice don't you? this is a hypothetical question, so if you are capable in answering with your own words, please do so, if not, might as well stop quoting the bible to your own advantage.

You are correct. St Paul certainly didn't believe a person who calls themselves a believer and is immoral, an adutlerer, a thief, greedy, etc, would get into heaven. He said a fellowship should expel such a person.

Many have said, the cost of it is in the blood of Jesus.

In many religion, there is a sacrifice ritual, where the innocent animal's blood replacing our own. That was what happened in the Garden of Eden, where the lamb was slained for Adam and Eve.

Ever since then, no one can please God by action or deeds. Abraham did not please God by doing work, but by believing (Gen 15:6). That sets the pattern for many to come.

In Eph 2:8 and 9, it rings the same message, that is to believe. By faith we are saved, not by work.

However, when one said that he believe, and continue to do evil, he or she wil have to pay some day. For Jesus also taugh, good tree bears good fruits, and bad trees bears bad fruits.

Jesus declare he is the Vine, and we are the branches. If we claim to be cafted into him (or grafted), than we need to show by the fruits we bear. Gal 5 says , the fruit of the Spirit is love joy peace patience kindness goodness faithfulness gentleness self-control.

Thus, in the Biblical concept, doing good do not get us to Heaven, but because we love Jesus, and want to do his commandment, thus we do good.

Look at Tsunami, one will know, how many percent of the helper are from what religion group, and the facts will tell you why.

Those religion that stress on doing good, and using good deeds to get to heaven/narvana, just how long they stay on?

But the Christian, till today, are still in Aceh, Nias and many areas, when all the press had long gone home.

That is the way. . . And God is justice? Yes he is, by paying our price with his blood.

The whole premise of Christianity is that Jesus Christ took the punishment for sinners both large and small upon Himself so that Humanity could be saved from God's justice.

It is hard to understand how God will reconcile people who have hurt each other on Earth.

I think one way He will do it is by putting the person who has been hurt in charge of the other person in heaven.

If you read the history of King David, you will see that he committed some horrendous acts! Yet he was loved by God.
It was his repentance and humility before God that was important (no doubt he did his OT sacrifices, foreshadowing Jesus sacrifice).

However; David and his family suffered great consequences from the damage done by his sin. Perhaps there is your justice, if that is what makes you feel better.
.
It makes a good read.

You are considering peoples offenses towards one another. Now, those offenses CAN send you to Hell. God says to love one another as you love yourself and to love God with all your heart, mind and soul. God's law can be summed up in that way. What sends us to Hell? Our offenses to God. We stand before Him guilty of breaking His laws (by lying, lusting (adultery at heart), hating others (murder at heart), coveting, etc). Now, even though we are all guilty and DESERVE to go to Hell, He has provided a way out through Jesus Christ. Jesus paid the fine so that we don't get punished.
Now. IF you TRULY accept that payment that was made on your behalf, you will be given a new heart with new desires. Desires to please God and follow His Laws and Commands. You will repent of your sins. That means you are more than just sorry, but you turn from sin. Anyone would be sorry if they stood before a judge knowing that they were guilty. That's why you have to TURN from your sin now to show your sorrow and appreciation for that payment. Many say they believe in Jesus, yet they act differently. You cannot LIVE in your sin and call yourself a believer. Not that I don't sin. I struggle with my sin. You see, I understand my offenses to God and I hate it when I do it again. Therefore, I sin, and, when I realize it, I then turn from it. I hate sin, yet it is still part of my nature. I sin less now than I did yrs ago and I hope that I sin less in the future. Do you see the difference between living in your sin (doing and being aloof about it) and struggling with sin?
Now about being in Heaven with those that hurt you. When you enter Heaven, you will be given a new body. You will be made perfect. I don't think that you will consider what was done to you on earth.

This is why Jesus died for us. We are all sinners, even you. If you have ever told a lie no matter how small, stolen, no matter how small or what, if you have ever taken The Lord Gods name in vain, if you have ever looked at another with lust, if you have ever coveted anything, no matter how small, you have broken these commandments. Even if you break just one, you have broken them all under God's conviction. He sent His son to die for us so that we may all be forgiven for these sins. If a person murders and repents, God knows their heart. He knows if the person is serious or just saying it. If you believe what you said above, are you saying you want to go to hell? Even if you just say you hate someone, under God's conviction, it is murder. You really need to get a good Holy Bible (KJV) 1611. It will help you alot.

Look at it this way, you could easily go to hell as anybody. God hates sin, but loves the sinner. If we were to judge by human standards, then nobody would go to heaven. That is the beauty of Jesus Christ He payed the price for our sins and it is through Him that we can go to the Father.

That is the most intelegent question i have ever heard, if you like send this questions to my email so we can talk better.
I'm not a Christian exacly because i had that same curiousity... Isn't God just? Why does everyone go to heaven if they believe in Jesus... plus i thought if Jesus died for us then why come back and say... look i'm going to my father and your father (when he was speaking to Magdalene after he came from the "dead"), so God is everyones father??? Was Jesus play around with his body and come from the dead... did he really have pain?? Was he really suffering?? Because if he comes from the dead then maybe he didn't suffer.

Your premise is not actually true.

The way God has arranged the deal, the only people who get into "heaven" as you say (I say God's home instead, it's cozier) is by being born again.

You can't be born again unless you yourself go to God and confront him about your status and request him to change it.

That really means that no one get's into his home unless they want to.

Turn that around the way God sees it:

Going to heaven is voluntary. You are only denied if you don't want to be there.

All culprits come back in different bodies and get punished in new birth without any valid reasons for punishment in that birth. In this new birth people around them say,"they did no wrong" why god punished them. That is the way of justice of God.
