That verse was before God created Eve. Later God created Eve in the garden of Eden.

What a load of cr&p.
You REALLY still believe in this fairy-tale?
Amazing, unbelievable and shocking that, in this day and age, there are so many blind fools who merely accept a heap of lies generated thousands of years ago and never ever question the validity of it all.
I am deeply saddened that such a huge percentage of the wotrld's population are still adhering to all this garbage and, surely, it can only be a direct result of childhood indoctrination. Thus it continues, as one generation feeds the 'story' to the next and fails to educate them about the reality of life.
THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS GOD, DEVIL, HEAVEN, HELL, SOUL or any other trash spouted by these simpletons. It is all fantasy. It is all an invention by rather stupid men a long time ago, which now corrupts the minds of innocent children and the myth is perpetuated. STOP doing it!!!
The world would be a far better place without religion of any sort.
Can you imagine that the most powerful man in the world believes 100% that an imaginary friend is on his side in any decision that he makes. It's like saying that Santa Claus will prtect you, young men and women of the armed forces - just go out there and subject yourselves to indiscriminate attacks on your life from another bunch of loonies who are ALSO in the deluded belief that THEIR version of this imaginary entity will smile down upon them for what atrocities thay carry out in his name ...
Absolutely stupid.
I only hope that, at some time, the educated classes will show the sheep where they are going wrong and all this killing in the name of religion will come to a gradual end. The added problem is that the muslims are far more stupid than anyone else.
IF you can take some serious discussion, see some searching questions and absorb some real hard evidence, go to www.godisimaginary.com and have an open mind as, so far, by admitting your stupidity by confessing to the fact that you believe in god and all that goes with that, merely labels you as a fool. You need to examine the validity of your so-called 'blind faith' in an imaginary being. It IS all in the mind and nothing more.
I do hope this helps you to see reality and adopt it.
Atheism really IS the only logical choice

Adam was the first in the garden but even was shortly put in the garden with him. There would serve no purpose to only have one person in the garden of eden. If you read in the end of Chapter Two of Genesis you can see where he puts Eve in the Garden.

Did you not read the whole chapter? and the next..
If Eve was not there, what do you do with these verses. ?
Genesis 2:8 (King James Version
8And the LORD God planted a garden eastward in Eden; and there he put the man whom he had formed.
_________
Gen 3:2 And the woman said unto the serpent, We may eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden:
Gen 3:3 But of the fruit of the tree which [is] in the midst of the garden, God hath said, Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die.
Gen 3:24 So he drove out the man; and he placed at the east of the garden of Eden Cherubims, and a flaming sword which turned every way, to keep the way of the tree of life.
And they heard the voice of the LORD God walking in the garden in the cool of the day: and Adam and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the LORD God amongst the trees of the garden.

Because when God put Adam in the garden, Eve was still in his side, & Adam was not the only thing God put in the garden, he put EVERY TREE there for food, & also 2 other trees that was not plant life & that was the Tree of Life & the tree of knowledge of good & evil, Or I can say 2 trees that was 2 laws & also God put all the animal life in the garden

The reason why the Bible says both is because Adam was at first alone and afterward he had a roommate.
No contradiction here. Sorry.

Maybe you missed the rest of the bible... i don't really believe in this bible anymore because there is a lot o mistakes in it... maybe the bible in the time it was created it was pure... but after the inquisition it got changed, everyone got theire own agendas to fill. It normally is all about power and money, and not about the "heart".

The three religions agree on one basic fact: Both women and men are created by God, The Creator of the whole universe.
However, disagreement starts soon after the creation of the first man, Adam, and the first woman, Eve. The Judaeo-Christian conception of the creation of Adam and Eve is narrated in detail in Genesis (2:4-24).
God prohibited both of them from eating the fruits of the forbidden tree. The serpent seduced Eve to eat from it and Eve, in turn, seduced Adam to eat with her.
When God rebuked Adam for what he did, he put all the blame on Eve,
"The woman you put here with me --she gave me some fruit from the tree and I ate it."(Genesis, 3: 12).
Consequently, God said to Eve:
"I will greatly increase your pains in childbearing; with pain you will give birth to children. Your desire will be for your husband and he will rule over you." (Genesis, 3: 16).
To Adam He said:
"Because you listened to your wife and ate from the tree of which I forbideen you to eat, “ Cursed is the ground because of you; through painful toil you will eat of it all the days of your life..." (Genesis, 3: 17).
The Islamic conception of the first creation is found in several places in the Qur’an, for example:
"O Adam dwell with your wife in the Garden and enjoy as you wish but approach not this tree or you run into harm and transgression. Then Satan whispered to them in order to reveal to them their shame that was hidden from them and he said: 'Your Lord only forbade you this tree lest you become angels or such beings as live forever.' And he swore to them both that he was their sincere adviser. So by deceit he brought them to their fall: when they tasted the tree their shame became manifest to them and they began to sew together the leaves of the Garden over their bodies. And their Lord called unto them: 'Did I not forbid you that tree and tell you that Satan was your avowed enemy?' They said: 'Our Lord we have wronged our own souls and if You forgive us not and bestow not upon us Your Mercy, we shall certainly be lost' " (7:19:23).
A careful look into the two accounts of the story of the Creation reveals some essential differences.
The Qur’an, contrary to the Bible, places equal blame on both Adam and Eve for their mistake. Nowhere in the Qur’an can one find even the slightest hint that Eve tempted Adam to eat from the tree or even that she had eaten before him. Eve in the Qur’an is no temptress, no seducer, and no deceiver. Moreover, Eve is not to be blamed for the pains of childbearing. God, according to the Qur’an, punishes no one for another's faults. Both Adam and Eve committed a sin and then asked God for forgiveness and He forgave them both.
