what about the genocide he committed, would he go unpunished for that, because he repented, accepted Jesus, and prayed the "sinner's prayer"? if so, where's justice for those people that Hitler had had murdered?

note: this is just a hypothetical question. i asked this because some evangelists told me that sinners will go straight to heaven after they accepted Jesus, and pray the "sinner's prayer".

yup in their insurance deal policy of their religion, yes he would. No way you can lose in Christianity. Just believe and have it in heart and in their doctrine you are slatted to heaven apart from your works. So you can live and do whatever you please there is always some loop hole to be ignorant and do inhuman things continually. There are a lot of crazy people that kill people everyday and they believe in Jesus in all their heart, but they kill repeatedly. Really you don't even have to confess before you die, you can confuse after the fact, just have to repent which in Christian doctrine means to just say your sorry to god and jesus and it is forgiven. The truth is repent means to make a turn, a complete change in mindset/life, to unloose your mind from the old and walk after the new.

Anyways Christians get their doctrine from Martin Luther who was the big reformer of Christianity, it is through his prospective. Like what he says,

"Be a sinner, and let your sins be strong, but let your trust in Christ be stronger, and rejoice in Christ who is the victor over sin, death, and the world. We will commit sins while we are here, for this life is not a place where justice resides... No sin can separate us from Him, even if we were to kill or commit adultery thousands of times each day." ('Let Your Sins Be Strong, from 'The Wittenberg Project;' 'The Wartburg Segment', translated by Erika Flores, from Dr. Martin Luther's Saemmtliche Schriften, Letter No. 99, 1 Aug. 1521.)

But strangely this is what Paul says, For it is impossible to restore again to repentance those who have once been enlightened, who have tasted the heavenly gift, and have become partakers of the Holy Spirit, and have tasted the goodness of the word of God and the powers of the age to come, if they then commit apostasy, since they crucify the Son of God on their own account and hold him up to contempt.. For if we sin deliberately after receiving the knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins, but a fearful prospect of judgment, and a fury of fire which will consume the adversaries." (Heb 6:4-6;10:26-27 RSV). So why do they think they can do whatever? I have no idea. It is a tradition of man to continue to not live what is in their scriptures.

If hittler were repented, that means he never gonna kill him self,so since he commit suicide,he cannot go to heaven.
Another thing I want to make clear, repent means that any thing you have done hurts you,it is some thing you actually wish you had never commit, so when you really repent on something and ask Jesus to forgive you,He will forgive you.
Do not misunderstand this please, it don't want to said that you can do any thing you want, and just said "I'm sorry" and expect God to forgive you, because in that way you are not really sorry about it. To many people today actualy think that Christians believe that you can do any thing and just said "Jesus forgive me" and you go to heaven no matter what. That it is not truth, if you do some thing wrong and after that you ask Jesus to forgive you and then you do the same thing again and a gain, then you are going to hell because you are taking Jesus sacrifice as a pair of pants that you can weare at any time just to cover your body and do not feel shame, and at any time you want to sin,you just take your pants off and you are free to sin again.
About the zise of hittler sins, for God,sin is sin.Just to give you an exemple: if you steal $1.00 dollar from your friend and some body else steal $1,000,000 dollars from a bank, both of you are thiffs no matter what was the amount.
I hope you Find some thing to help you to understand this things better.
GOD BLESS YOU!

Good question; I believe that Christ was not a sinner, and the Bible teaches that God took all of our sin and placed them on Christ. I often wonder about this as it tends to suggest that even if you commit alot of sins, Jesus has already taken them from you and therefore if you honestly accept God and Jesus then you will eventually go to heaven (not straight away I should think)
This also raises the question of the necessity of repentance, I am sure it is mentioned in the bible but if Jesus took our sins why must we say sorry for them...not that we shouldn't and not that I want to steal away from your question...purely hypothetical

the bible says it so it must be true. However he would have to really really accept Jesus as his saviour in order to get redemption according to the book.

Basically God still has the last say and if your heart does not say what your lips do then you are going to go to the Hell of Christendom.

Essentially the old testament says that Thou shalt not kill, however the old testament became yesterdays news when Jesus said "he was the Law" ( i wonder if he said it like Judge Dreed?) " I Em De Loor!".

As JC decreed we should love one another then Hitler could still be done on a technecality, but I dont believe that Hitler was ever a Christian even though he allowed the Catholic Church a lot of leeway in his actions.

Did you know the Catholic Church and the Pope knew about the Holocaust months before the Allies and said and did nothing!

Know as some believe that the bishop of Rome is Gods representative on Earth does that mean Hitler had sanction to do these deeds and therefore was always in Gods grace.?

But then he may have done himself by committing suicide.

As the Russians squirreleld his body away we will never know if and where he was buried. Hallowed ground perhaps. We will never know.

A very good and interesting question, one of those dinner table after dinner convos.

Well Done!

I think that the likelihood of his repentance on his deathbed was nein. However, on judgement day, if his good outweighed the bad things that he has done with his life on earth, then, and only then, would he be accepted into heaven. Again, the likelihood of that, is nein. This is why it is important to do good with the life that God has blessed you with. Hitler would have had to make a drastic turnaround in his life, and ask forgiveness for all of his sins. They were too numerous.

When there is repentance, God pardons sin, but he does not give exemption from deserved punishment for serious wrongs.

(1) True repentance is manifested by deeds, not just words;

(2) Sacrifices alone do not please God;

(3) To reap what is good, we must sow what is good.

How can one possibly repent on ones deathbed where there was no actions to indicate that there was a turning around?

Jesus Christ said, "I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life. No ones comes to the Father except through Me."
If Hitler repented before he died, yes he will be in heaven. As humans sometimes we can't understand that. To God no sin is greater than another. If we were to judge people nobody would go to heaven.

Yes he absolutely would. That is the point of Grace. You do not deserve God's Grace, by all rights we deserve hell, but God is merciful and will forgive us if we repent and will remember our wrongs no more. I know in our humanistic eyes we want to see "justice" done and people answer for their crimes, but God's justice is different than ours and I am thankful that he is the one who judges, and not me.

"For I take no pleasure in the death of anyone, declares the Sovereign Lord." Ezekiel 18:32

And here is the point, salvation literally means being saved from damnation, and of all the people who need that, Hitler and such need it the most. If God were unable to save them, or unable to forgive them, then why would we, comparatively "good" people, need salvation? The point is that we all need salvation, we are all capable of receiving it, and God's Grace is amplified by the worst of sinners being saved.

The point of Grace is that is saves us from wrath. Read carefully the following from Paul, who in his early life killed Christians. You'd think he would surely deserve hell, but he lets us know why Grace saves:

I read a parable, I can't seem to find it right now granted it is four am, but I'll make a similar one.

A thief felt regret for his sins and went before the king to seek forgiveness. The king saw that the thief's heart was truly changed, so the king said, "Your ill deeds are forgiven, and you are now adopted into my royal court as a servant"

Some time later, a murderer appeared before the king, feeling sorrow for his bad deeds. The king saw that the murderer's heart was truly changed, so the king said, "Your ill deeds are forgiven, and you are now adopted into my royal court as a servant"

The thief felt angry that the criminal was given the same reward as he, so the thief appeared before the king and said, "You rewarded this criminal as much as you rewarded me. Should he not be made my servant, given the atrocity of his crimes compared to mine?"

The king replied, "Are you angry that I showed the same kindness to the murderer as I offered to you? I did not forgive you because your crime was less than his, I forgave you because your heart was changed. How can I refuse another man's repentance? Both you and the murderer committed crimes against the laws I set, yet since I am the Lawgiver, I have the authority to forgive people of their crimes.
