God send prophets to guide the people. These prophets were sent at different ages to different areas. Almost 123000+ prophets came to earth to give the message of God and guide people to spend a peacefull and productive life. Some of these prophets were also revelaed a book and some with booklets.
Jesus is one of the mightiest prophets of God, He was also given a book known as 'Enjeel' or Bible.
But the problems with these books if that they were never written in a proper way and over the time parts of these books were lost. If we have a book which Jesus has signed on it. Shhhhhh no questions then. but we dont have any valid/authentic book. what we have is a collection of parts of these messages/stories/happenings of Jesus life time by different people. These menuscripts also don't belong to the time of Jesus but the most ancient menuscripts that Bible is based on were written 300+ years after Jesus. There are certain facts about Bible.
1. It was revelaed but never documented in Jesus time.
2. The most ancient menuscripts go 300+ years after Jesus. All the knowledge in these menuscripts was tranferred from human to human (ear to ear) in the form of stories etc.
3. These menuscripts were collected from different areas means people had heard different from their elders in different areas so the conflicts were there.
4. Bible(meaning book) is written by the contribution of so many people based on the menuscripts written by people of different areas and times based on theor ear-say knowledge. These are the reasons of these differences that you mentioned in your question.
5. Wording of Bible also claims that it is not the word of God. i.e. not God speaking to humans nor Jesus speaking to God or his disciples. rather it says 'God said unto Jesus' and 'Jesus said unto God' it clearly means that it is not the word of God nor even the word of Jesus rather somebody else is writing us the happenings of Jesus and God.
6. Bible not only contains the happening of Jesus and his disciples but also contains other stories of that time and some of them or so odd and pornographic that you can't even read them infront of children. Government of south Africa had a ban on pornographic material in the country and some of the extracts of Bible were also banned in that time.
So in short Bible is a collection of so many things. It contains stories, history, propheseis and some communication between Jesus and God but again thats not in origional form. The bottom line of your questions 'Is Bible word of God?' is that yes may be some parts of the book do conatins what Jesus was told by God but as a whole the book is not a word of God.

As far as Christians are concerned, yes, it is the Word of God.
It is somewhat confusing that a Jehovah's Witness would say that the the Bible doesn't contain any errors.
Their New World Translation made 237 corrections in the New Testament by changing "god" and "lord" to "Jehovah". It's hard to understand why they would make those changes if they believed it was error-free.

Nature is the word of God, not the Bible.
Have you ever heard the saying, "An artist can only ever depict himself"? Meaning, artists can never paint anything without revealing their character, moods, and feelings.
God is no different. His entire character and being can be witnessed and seen in creation.
(As for your question, if you think there are so many errors, you've likely never really researched the topic. You've probably taken someone else at their word. I've spent a lot of time debating Atheists who think this, and they're often left really, really embarrassed because the explanations are just so easy and the claim of so many errors is usually based on nothing but prejudice. I've also spent a lot of time reading original documents from the Iron Age and Bronze Age, and I have found the Bible to be an accurate representation of history in each period presented. If you dare, present what you think are errors and I'll educate you.)

No, the Bible is not the Word of God, but the Word of God is conveyed through it. There are not thousands of errors, I've studied the contradictions and either it is because of taking something out of context or a poorly translated text. The Greek stands very firm and irrefutable, and its accuracy truly dwarfs other ancient works.

What errors?
Copies of the Hebrew Scriptures were written out with painstaking care and the scribes took unusual precautions to make sure that these were free from error.
They checked by counting the number of words, even the number of letters, and if even one letter was wrong, they would discard that section of the manuscript and rewrite it.
As proof of this accuracy, manuscripts dated as being of the tenth century C.E. contain essentially the same record as the recently discovered “Dead Sea scroll” of Isaiah, which was copied in the first or second century B.C.E.
More than a thousand years of copying and recopying had resulted in NO distortion of the Bible text!

Bible means group of books. These books were written by human beings under the inspiration of God. in other words, the wrote the word of God. the word of God itself is perfect, there is no error, no mistake in it. yet those who wrote it are not perfect because they are human beings like you and I. If you find a mistake or error in the bible know that it does not come from God. error and mistakes come from humans because they are the one who wrote it. nevetherless, the word of God is more than what is writen, more than the Bible. Do not limit yourself in listing mistakes because it came form humans. try to elavate yourself in the spiritual level then you will see how perfect is that word of God writen in the Bible.

That is true to some degree.Although I can't say all of the Bible but you can see through some of the stories some shades of mythology which is emblematic of prevailing superstitions during Roman Empire.

The Bible does not contain any errors. It is the inspired word of God and as such is in harmony throughout.
It is peoples lack of understanding that has them think it contains erros and contradictions.
