i like this guy, his friend says that the guy thinks i'm pretty and hot, how do i know but i think he likes this other girl, how can i find out who he likes?

generally when a person doesn't look you in the eyes , means they are fibbing
also the right side of the brain is for creativity and the left side is for thinking, so when a person stops talking for a few seconds but have there head raised slightly looking to the left is an out right lie. some people twitch, like me if i lie my lip twitches, so i can never get away with it.or alternivatly you can just ask him outright and take it at face value

Suggest to his friend that he tell this guy you like that if he likes you, he should ask you out for a date. If he does, get to know him and eventually you'll be able to tell if he's lying or telling the truth.

Just be nice to him, have fun with him, be someone he can talk to, do a few things you know he likes, it has always been my practice to just be me. So don't bend over backwards. If it doesn't feel right, then it most likely isn't right for you. The right one enters every young ladies life. Take your time and choose wisely. Most of all, don't be the chaser, if he likes you let him do the chasing.

If he is your friend i would jokingly ask him who he's got his eye on and you should be able to tell by his reaction whether he likes you or someone else
