I was woundering how much trouble he would get? military jail or civilian? how many years thanks

Well, unless he committed these armed robberies on base or something, I doubt he would face a court martial. It would most likely be civilian time, with a dishonorable discharge. Each count of armed robbery carries a sentence of up to 7 years each in California. Plus, if a firearm was brandished, then you add 10 years to each count. That would be 187 years if he were given the maximum. But if the firearm was fired, then that would result in 20 more years per count. And lastly, if he shot at someone, whether they were hit or not, that would be life in prison for each count.

So I guess you could say that he is in alot of trouble. Nice guy.

This may have happened in 1970-1971 when the courts could order someone in the military. This is NOT a recent event as I was recruiting for 5 years. You can't even be considered for military service with an agressive felony. Someone is pulling your leg.

depends where the crimes occured-on the base or off the base. If the crimes occured within the jurisdiction of the local police, he would be at the mercy of that court. He could face further disciplinary action from a military court
