From the beginning of time, God has never allowed man to make decisions as to spiritual practices or beliefs. He has always been careful to tell us what He expects, either through commands, examples, or inferences. I see no command, example, or inference in scripture for praying the rosary. Therefore, we can conclude that it is not God-authorized...it is a practice man has instituted and adopted. To make an addition to God's word by binding an unauthorized spiritual practice on someone, is sin. And to practice it is sin....since it does not come from God.

Their was no shortage of people asking Mary to pray to her son for them, while she still walked the earth.
Catholics know, from the eye witness testimony of the apostles, that the Blessed Virgin is presently alive and in heaven, seated at the right hand of her divine son Jesus, and still actively assisting him in his great work of saving souls.
St. John writes to this effect in Revelation 11 and 12, and he personally testified to that effect for the benefit of his disciples, and the whole church.
Every prayer of the Rosary glorifies God and is literally based on sacred scripture.
Only the ignorant attempt to take verses like Matthew 6:7 which was directed against those who worship FALSE gods, and apply them to the authentic prayers and devotions of the one, true church.
And only Protestants who falsely attempt to make their own rules, and follow their own false traditions, have a hard time understanding this.
How many times can one recite the Lord's Prayer, or sing "Amazing Grace" before it becomes "vain" repetition?
I suggest you are the one who misunderstands the nuances of the Holy Spirit, probably because you've yet to discover the one, true church, which will always remain holy, catholic, and apostolic..

Ritual without reality is meaningless.
The Lord gave the example of how we should pray.
So who copywrited the rosary prayer?
Rosaries are an invention of the catholic church, and they are not free, therefore a money making tool, much like the indulgences were when you had to pay a fee for certain sins.
Christ is the Lamb who taketh away the sins of the world.
Christ paid for our sins. We, in faith accept what Christ did on our behalves.

I don't think Catholics care about being "born again" -- that's an evangelical protestant expression.
I think there are many paths to the summit. If I were you, I'd worry more about my own faith and less about what other people are doing.

>>In praying the rosury are you sinning?<<
Praying Scripture is never sinning.
Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee, (Luke 1:28)
Blessed Art Thou amongst women, (Luke 1:42)
and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus, (Luke 1:42)
Holy Mary, Mother of God, (Luke 1:43)
Pray for us sinners, now (James 5:16)
and at the hour of our death.
Amen

Yes they are. Look at this website. What do you think? When you get on that page, go to "false religions" and go from there.
I hope you wont get caught up in the idol worship I was once caught up in as a catholic.
