i was just curious to know how many people are really good friends with their exes?

if i didnt have kids with this woman i would and could write her out of my life forever. why would a person want to be really good friend with there ex if they wanted to divorce from them??

Most of my exes from over the last 20 years (about 6) are still my good friends. When a couple part on good terms because they just realised it wasn't going to work then there is no reason for them to hate and despise each other. So yes I still have a very good friendship with my exes.

I'm only friends with ex-girlfriends after I've moved on and started dating someone else. This usually takes a while but it ensure that there are no relapses.

I have tried that twice, with one it ended up failing miserably and with the other.. we just ended up together again years later.
I think being friendly with exes is the best way to go.. sorta just being at aquaintence status but not buddies.

Well, I still have an ex-boyfriend from my teen years that I keep in touch with. Visit with him when I go back home.

I was up untill today. Her 8year old daughter keeps saying she wants to see me. She said not to call anymore. She is worried the daughter will find out the truth about her. She has lied to each of her friends and family and myself. What should I do with the dirty video of her. Maybe I should email it to her boss, friends and family. I should she deserves it, but I won`t.

With one's I've had serious relationships with, yes. Treasured friendships. Long time ago though. Been with my wife 25 years next month. OMG!

I was friends with her before we got married -
and I shall be her friend after she divorces me after 26 years
*sigh* we are not seeing each other that often - but she is cordial

I talk to them, but I have very little interest in doing anything sexual with them. I don't go backto what never worked out in the first place.

never had an ex...so i cant tell you, but im sure there are some out there, not the majority I'm guessing
