You could do away with all the diet books ever written with the following sentence, "Eat less, Exercise more and you will lose weight".

The problem is doing these things is difficult and requires effort and time, it will take longer and much more effort to lose to lose weight than to put it on.

Eat sensibly, and in smaller portions. When I diet I only eat portions that are 2/3 the normal size. Cut out silly things like crisps, chocolate and fizzy drinks. You might want to go easy on fruit juice too, it contains a lot of (natural) sugar. And have will power, you don't have to eat when you feel hungry. People go for days without eating, so you can manage between breakfast and lunch. That's the eating less part.

The exercise part is up to you. Go for a long walk everyday. Go running, go swimming (my preferred option it's great exercise). Whatever you do, put effort into it and realise all of the sweat, huffing and puffing is for a reason. Make it a normal part of your day and you have cracked it. And do a little, but often.

To lose weight you must EAT LESS, EXERCISE MORE. That's the easy part, the difficult part is doing it, there are no easy ways or short cuts. Good luck!

2. bhujangasan ( reduces the fat & creases on the back)
3. halasan ( flexes the muscles & reduces the creases)
4. dhanurasan ( flexes the muscles & reduces the creases)
5. sarvangasan ( controls the whole body to perfection)
6. mathsyasan ( increases the chest & reduces the stomach)
7. nauli kriya ( the best for stomach)
8. mayurasan ( very difficult but best for the belly )
9. bhastrika pranayanam ( breathing exercise, very best and must as this controls BP, prevent lung diseases, increases the brain power, will never get cough or cold and controls your anger and other violent emotions, brings in crimson complextion to the face etc, etc)
10. sevasan. ( This is the last exercise and this removes all the stress and strain of all the above exercises )

Do all these exercises every day in the morning before breakfast and after nature calls because both your stomach & intestines should be empty while you do this . Do it regularly for 1 month with confidence and see the magic

Exercise, lots of it and eat less. Keep the intake below what your calorie expenditure is. Dump the sodas, and candy, and crackers, chips, and just about anything else you probably like to snack on. Run, walk, ride a bicycle, swim, get and and move your body by it's own ability to do so. Eat fresh foods, lay off of the potatoes, and rice. Any thing that is starchy, or sugary should be on the "no" or minimum list. Lots of fresh fruit, leafy vegetables, nuts, in moderation, beans but be sure to limit the serving size. Also, 4 or 5 small meals per day, and LOTS of water. At least a gallon of water per day.

Eat less, move more. No pop, way less bread, running daily, cutting back on desserts, putting food in tupperware and storing it in the fridge (you don't have to eat it all just 'cuz it's there), set a goal, be serious about it, BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR YOUR WEIGHT!!! I write my current weight in a notebook once a week. Drink more water. Don't eat late at night. Eat a good size healthy breakfast. Eat a decent lunch. Eat a very light dinner. Don't snack a lot.

The best way to lose weight I think is a product my friends and I have had great success with. It is a series of detoxifying, high quality, protein shakes (meal replacements) you have twice a day aside from a low calorie meal. These shakes are packed full of essential vitamins and minerals and give you a feeling of fullness because your body is getting from them all the nutrition it needs. Furthermore, it features a cleanser which is full of all natural ingredients that clean your body of impurities it accumulates on a daily basis (mostly due to processed foods). These impurities not only store themselves in fat cells, but they may inhibit your metabolism and keep you from losing weight or maintaining weight loss. I personally use it to get healthier, since I am at ideal weight. One of my friends easily lost 10 excess pounds, another 35 lbs. I even mentioned it once to my sister's boyfriend who responded about his soccer teammate losing about 40 lbs on it. It is healthy and safe, and a good way to keep off the weight you'll lose. If you want to know more about what IT is, email me at jdplamenac@yahoo.com. Anyone feel free to email me!

Well I joined Slimming World and it has worked so well for me I decided to become a consultant to help others see how great it is.

On a green day you can eat unlimited amounts of fresh or frozen fruit and veg including potatoes. Unlimited amounts of rice, pasta, lentils, grains, beans, and pulses. Unlimited amount of eggs, very low fat dairy products and vegetable proteins like quorn and tofu.

On a green day meat/fish can be taken in measured amounts.

On an original day you can eat unlimited amounts of lean meats, fish and seafood, game, very low fat dairy products, quorn and tofu, eggs, most vegs and unlimited fresh or frozen fruit.

On an original day potatoes, pasta etc can be taken in measured amounts.

No food is banned due to the fact if you know you can't have something then you almost always want it and may end up totally over-indulging.

If you want any information on Slimming World please log onto their website.

start with few things at a time. try this out and tell me how it goes, drink 2-3 letter a day (3 is best) and always try to drink your water portion before your meal portion (whatever the meal is, main or snack), and run for 30min (as fast as you can you don't have to be a runner to run 30 min, even if you can start with a seriously brisk walking only) for two weeks, four times a week at least... you should start noticing results from the first week..

I think that you just need to eat less and exercise more and change your eating habits. Its not a case of going on a diet, you need to think about changing your whole outlook for example. Eat 3 sensible meals a day that are low in fat and sugar. Eat more fruit and vegetables and aim to drink at least 8 glasses of water and exercise
