although we broke up we still do things together like we're not, but he came to my house thursday night with a portable dvd player and a playstation 2 he told me how he got it and it was wrong (stolen) i got up and went to work when i came home it was still there so i took it to his mama and she didnt want it in her house cause charges was already pressed so she told me to go turn it in ti the police and i did now he's about to go to prison and I feel so bad,did i do wrong? i love him so much but thats not his first second or third time stealing i just didnt want no part of it but i still don't ant him to go to prison, can charges be dropped?

No, you're not wrong. He didn't care if he brought stolen goods to your house. You could've gotten into trouble with that. If this isn't his first offense, he's got issues and he would've landed in jail if you had turned him in or not. He chose to steal things. You chose to do the right thing, don't feel guilty about that. Sever all ties with Mr Sticky Fingers and be glad he didn't rip you off!
I don't know if the charges can be dropped. That all depends on his case and if he's had priors. If he goes to prison, so be it. At least there, when you steal, Big Bubba will beat his butt and he'll learn a valuable life lesson.

YOU SHOULD HAVE NEVER DONE THAT. PEOPLE STEAL ALL THE TIME, IT IS A FACT. YOU HAD THE RIGHT TO GET IT OUT OF YOUR HOUSE, BUT WHY WOULD YOU TAKE IT TO THE POLICE THAT WAS EXTREME, AND THE CHARGES WILL NOT E DROPPED. THAT WAS A BAD MOVE.
