Signs point to...?

I'm not a teenybopper asking about a random boy in class, I'm in my 20s and I'm asking about a guy I've been good friends with for years. And the question is...does he like me? There's history and a lot of stuff (all good) that I don't really need to go into. A few times when we've been talking, we'll talk about cities and he'll say, "we should go there." Is he imagining the same romantic getaways I am? Okay, I realize this is a hard question and kinda dumb, but i just want to know what he might be thinking. Would you say this to a girl who you have a quasi-romantic past (specifically recent past) with?

that is a tough sitch to be in, I know I've been there, ask him what he'd want to do in that city.. see if he starts to stammer or blush or something ( this will tell you a bit about whether he likes oyu ) also in past romantic history who initiated what like a kiss and who stopped it... examine this and if the first answer is him then you might be into you also the best relationships are built on a strong friendship

maybe the next time the conversation heads in the direction of a romantic getaway. Get a little more specific with the idea. Something like (that sounds great you know we all ways talk about getting away why don't we just go for it. A week-end trip would be nice) Anyway I think after a weekend trip you would have a better idea if you want to proceed with this guy or not.

He wants to go away somewhere where no one will know and have sex. He might have a girlfriend or a "sorta" girlfriend and he does not want her to know about it. Don't do it. I am not a teenybopper either. I am 40 yrs old and guys have always been the same. Nothing new about this tactic.
