OMG!!!!!!!!! DO NOT BREED!!!!!!!!!!!!! If your dog is pregnant, GET HER AN ABORTION!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! If you do not know the BASICS such as how a breeding should occur, then you DO NOT need to be breeding!

You are a sick, IRRESPONSIBLE, BACK YARD BREEDER that contributes to the THOUSANDS of dogs DYING in shelters everyday.

I can almost GUARANTEE that your dog IS NOT:

A. show quality (let alone titled)
B. Not checked for genetic disorders common to the breed

Are you prepared to find the puppies PERMANENT (1/4 of dogs that DIE in shelters are purebred) homes that have research the Golden breed thoroughly to insure that it is the right breed for them? Are you willing to feed the pups every 2 hours if the mother rejects them? Are you willing to PROPERLY SOCIALIZE them? Are you willing to provide the proper vet care for both the mom and pups BEFORE, DURING, AND AFTER the delivery? Are you financially prepared to have and emergency c-section if needed? Do you know when to intervene and when not to? Are you prepared for sleepless nights and LOTS of poop pickup?

Are you willing to accept the fact that your PET may DIE during birth?

I have to agree with rodeochick. Don't be offended by her answer just try be enlightened as to what you are doing. You need to go about it in the right way. Just throwing a male and female together and hoping for the best isnt responsible breeding. You shouldn't be doing this.

That is why breeders usually use an experienced stud/maiden bit ch, or vice versa.

Maybe you should educate yourself about breeding before doing it. Do they have any health clearances? AT LEAST had a brucellosis test and a pre-breeding exam?

This is the easy part, it gets MUCH harder.
