As a full time student (and only a student, no job, 18 credit hours), I couldn't do it without their support. I have my own place near campus, my own life, etc but I rely financially on my parents.
I personally have no qualms with it.

im studend and also working,,I dont wanna to depend on my Parents,,I have started working from age of 15,,and I feel good when I spend own money and when give gifts to family,,,
ya sometime I do borrow money from my parents,,but thats okk
u can say that Im independent coz Im still not having my own house,,but soon I'll having my own room also

as long as you live there, you are dependent on your parents. you probably can't even make a sandwich and you're all independent.
