And also, This is something to think about! Since America is typically represented by an eagle. Saddam should have read up on his Muslim passages...

The following verse is from the Koran, (the Islamic Bible)

Koran (9:11 ) - For it is written that a son of Arabia would awaken a fearsome Eagle. The wrath of the Eagle would be felt throughout the lands of Allah and lo, while some of the people trembled in despair still more rejoiced; for the wrath of the Eagle cleansed the lands of Allah; and there was peace.
(Note the verse number!) Hmmmmmmm?!

before this there are plenty of true historical references, but with this reference i am stumped!!!
i have read all i can find and i have yet to find this little tidbit!!! what does this reference actually say? and why do people have to create this islamic hatred with such a flat out lie!!!???

That verse appears nowhere in the Qur'an.

That verse of the Qur'an has nothing to do with eagles. It has to do with pagans repenting. Indeed, the index does not show references to eagles anywhere, nor do I recall ever having seen such a reference. But bear in mind that the whole thing is a hoax, as shown by the errors in it.

What does verse 9:11 of the Koran really say? I'm confused. What if you just change the bird to ostrich? It might help. Actually, I agree that there is always something, somewhere that makes people think they did the right thing when they didn't.

It isn't true. It's an urban legend. It was also quoted as one of the verses in the Bible, but it's simply not true. Go pick up a copy of the Quran or do a seach on the web for those verses .... you'll see it is a hoax.

You're getting chains/forwards. Block the address of the person who's sending it to you, or mark it as spam.

That claim is incorrect. The verse is fake. It doesn't exist in the Koran. I've answered a question like this before.

[9:11] But if they repent and observe Prayer and pay the Zakaat, then they are your brethren in Faith. And We explain the Signs for a people who have knowledge.

That is not from the Quran
