Saran wrap (plastic wrap) the toilet (about 3 layers), sprinkle the litter on top of the plastic, then place the toilet seat down. If that's the only "litter box" the kitten has, after about 3-4 months, it will become trained to use that location.

But from the sounds of it, your real problem is that he's missing the target and not always using the litter box. It also looks like he might be finding the odor of the box too strong, or that there's a territorial problem with the other cats. You might want to try different litters and sizes/depths of possible litter boxes... cats can sometimes just be fussy as to whether they like their paws in the texture and whether or not they want to be perched on/in/outside the box.

Good luck!

Put him in the litter box sit him down like hes using the box then grab his paws and make him paw at the litter and he\she will catch on to the idea. or when he\she pees on the carpet get some of his urine on a paper towel and lay it in his\her litter box so he\she knows this is where you want he\she to potty. good luck!

Put out the kitty litter and they will teach themselves.

OR...

I did have a cat that used to get up on the seat and poo.. but he learned that by watching me sit on the throne.. then when I flushed he would look inside at the whirling water.. next thing ya know.. he was copying me.. lol

Memories
He was a good ol' cat.

Why might want to you tell a teeny kitten off? It would not comprehend. it is not being naughty, it is too youthful to entice close any better. besides, do not consistently sparkling the section for him because this would reason an anal impaction. I had a kitten who were given this when I wiped clean her each and each and every of the time at the same time as she had to placed on a funnel round her neck after having her eye bumped off.

Using a litter box comes naturally to cats & doesn't take much to get them to use it...... his box is in the bathtub?? I suggest moving it to an easily accessible place & away from the other cats' boxes.....

i really do not know but i have to tell you this story. when my sister and i were teenagers she brought home this very skinny cat. we named her glenda. one day we caught her on the toilet peeing. and from then on that is what she did. she then started pooping in the bath tub on the drain. that was gross. but one day when she was on the toilet i looked at her and she was grunting. when she got off the toilet-low and behold-she had pooped and she did everytime after that. ask your vet
