Put in more solution and wait a minute or two. If this does not do it,repeat. It takes awhile for the solution to rehydrate the lens. Once it does, then it should loosen up enough to remove normally. Do not try to dig it out with your fingernail.

Keep the contact out for a while and give your eye a break. Put eye drops in your eyes every couple of hours to keep the contact moist on your eyes. If they start to irratate then just add more drops. The first, second, and third days are the hardest.

Buy Natural tears solution like Murine or Visine, put it in your eyes, then remove the contacts.

use a little cup or your hand(leaning over stopped up sink) to hold water against your eye----rehydrating it may take time, but that's the key........if you have tears-visine, keep wetting repeatedly---I never had soft ones, but in the old days, hard ones were notorious for being dangerous if you fell asleep with them on.---I thought soft ones weren't supposed to have that problem---good luck, or of course do NOT try to pull it off, until it is floating freely!

leave them out so your eye can clear up, and clean the contact well, leaving it in solution until your eye is better
