Yup and that is the exact reason we live in such an unbalanced world. If the bible said Jesus had a wife and children then he would be thought of as a man and not a God. There are lots of tidbits missing from that book. Many of which promote a lack of balanced thinking.

Family life is every were in the Bible, i cant remember the exact passage but here is some examples: (This is how i recall it, the actual words may differ)
Honor your Father and Mother (Ex20 this is the first commandment WITH a promise)
Children obey your parents
Parents don't make your children despondent
Wives love your husbands
and Husbands love your wives.
Indeed, the Bible does not give a detailed account of Christ's life wile He was in the family home.
But He said that people who believe in Him are His Brothers and Sisters.

This is not true. When Jesus was 12 and stayed in Jerusalem preaching while his parents missed him for 3 days it says he went home with them being obedient and growing. We know the implication Jesus had brothers and sisters referred to cousins because on the cross he instructed the disciple John to "behold your mother" meaning to care for her. This duty would have fallen upon any true brothers or sisters if Jesus had any.

It's actually implied a bit, the whole losing him at the synagogue thing for one... Plus, in general, it was the culture of the time, as a child there aren't many other ways he could've kept fed, and he would've been expected to apprentice Joseph's carpentry work.
Oh, and christ doesn't really have to have done something for the religion to take it up, Christ never sang songs as far as we know for example... But of course, one would assume the ultimate Christian life would be to walk around barefoot with a bunch of other men by your logic, which I find the idea of entertaining, so I agree... >.>

Actually, no religion shows that.Christian in nature simply means they follow the christian ideal of family; 1 father, 1 mother, a few children. as opposed to otherreligions' ideals ; 1 father, multiple mothers, dozens of kids

there are many things that the Scriptures do not elaborate on much. For instance one passage tells of Jesus preaching in the Synagogue early on in his ministry. According to Jewish law, a man has to be (and HAD to be) "MARRIED" to preach in the Synagogue! There fore, something is obviously missing or maybe was removed somewhere along the way!

If He didn't believe in family why does the Bible record his genealogy? Why was He born into a family?
Family is important.
Matthew 1
1 The family tree of Jesus Christ, David's son, Abraham's son: 2-6Abraham had Isaac, Isaac had Jacob,
Jacob had Judah and his brothers,
Judah had Perez and Zerah (the mother was Tamar),
Perez had Hezron,
Hezron had Aram,
Aram had Amminadab,
Amminadab had Nahshon,
Nahshon had Salmon,
Salmon had Boaz (his mother was Rahab),
Boaz had Obed (Ruth was the mother),
Obed had Jesse,
Jesse had David,
and David became king.
6-11David had Solomon (Uriah's wife was the mother),
Solomon had Rehoboam,
Rehoboam had Abijah,
Abijah had Asa,
Asa had Jehoshaphat,
Jehoshaphat had Joram,
Joram had Uzziah,
Uzziah had Jotham,
Jotham had Ahaz,
Ahaz had Hezekiah,
Hezekiah had Manasseh,
Manasseh had Amon,
Amon had Josiah,
Josiah had Jehoiachin and his brothers,
and then the people were taken into the Babylonian exile.
12-16When the Babylonian exile ended,
Jeconiah had Shealtiel,
Shealtiel had Zerubbabel,
Zerubbabel had Abiud,
Abiud had Eliakim,
Eliakim had Azor,
Azor had Zadok,
Zadok had Achim,
Achim had Eliud,
Eliud had Eleazar,
Eleazar had Matthan,
Matthan had Jacob,
Jacob had Joseph, Mary's husband,
the Mary who gave birth to Jesus,
the Jesus who was called Christ.
17There were fourteen generations from Abraham to David,
another fourteen from David to the Babylonian exile,
and yet another fourteen from the Babylonian exile to Christ.

Same thing with the internet, for the same reason. The Bible does not mention it.
The use of mobile phone is also discouraged because there are no biblical reference of how Jesus used them.
All that makes a lot of sense.

That is because in today's parlance . We would call Him a traveling Preacher. But He did make stops back to see his mother at least.

Jesus's 'family' was the people his disciples and the women that stayed with him all the time.
