I prefer Colgate by far.

I've always used colgate but I bought crest because it was on sale. I found that no matter how hard I scrubbed my teeth just didn't feel as clean as with Colgate. I won't buy it again.

as a dental professional you should be using a tooth paste that has a high fluoride content, otherwise toothpaste is toothpaste. You can use anything that taste good to you, but to help your teeth, you need fluoride. Flossing is the only thing that will help your gums and for whitening, crest white strips work very good. Use a soft bristle brush too!

Just a matter of preference for taste. Check for the ADA label on the toothpaste your are using.
