If Mary, the mother of Jesus, remained a virgin then Joseph was celibate.
Many believe Joseph may been a widower with children when he became engaged to Mary.
With love in Christ.

Mary remained a virgin all her life. Maybe God did something to Joseph after the birth of Jesus. The brothers and sisters of Jesus were the children of Joseph from a previous marriage.

No. Early Christian writings such as the History of Joseph the Carpenter, the Protoevangelium of James, and the Panarion indicate he was a widower with children when he was entrusted with the care of Mary. There is NO evidence Mary had any children other than Jesus. None of the "brothers" or "sisters" are ever identified as being HER children.

I'm not sure if it says Mary remained a virgin after Jesus' birth but, Joseph was married before Mary. He had children. I do believe he and Mary had children together too though, after Jesus was born.

So you mean that Mary actually had sex with Joseph and was a normal person and not sinless like the catholic church is promoting. Seems like Joseph could have had children from a prior marriage but why does the bible and history not bear that out as a fact. The bible states that Jesus had brothers and sisters. These in fact came after Jesus was born via MARY and JOSEPH who had there own children but they were the product of a human sexual relationship unlike Jesus who was divine. Mary and Joseph were not divine they are clay.

Have you a want?thats not a bad thing.
He must have really loved her to say he stayed with her, makes him a better man in my book.
They didnt have any children afterwards either.
Some people reckon they did because of what it says in the Gospel according to John but brothers in this case means compardrae,
And before some gaybo remarks about John being the disciple who was loved the most i think the use of the name John was meant to symbolise you and me,
Example:Mary became Johns mother equates to Mary became our mother.
Example;the disciple who was loved the most(think back to the multiplication of the loaves)means that you and i are the disciples that Jesus loves the most. And i think thats great.

Poor (?) Joseph was a widower with three kids, so no he was not a virgin himself, he got busy before his marriage to Mary. I do not know when his wife passed, and his age before marriage to Mary, so he must have had sex with his wife for years, before she passed.
Peace!

No , she was the mother of Jesus, but she did not remain a Virgin, she and Joseph were married(Matthew1:19-25) and they had other children besides Jesus!(Matthew13:55,56 ; Luke8:1921)

I think you need to read the bible. Jesus had siblings. The mother was Mary and the father was Joseph.
