The Bible has been around for thousands of years. It's circulation continues to grow as technological advances in printing make dissemination of copies faster and easier. Not to mention the fact that the information contained is timeless, the lessons learned that applied to situations of long ago are still applicable to day to day problems and situations that everyone of us encounters. The Torah ends before the coming of Jesus Christ, the Qumran starts after the departure of Christ. Only the Bible Starts with the five books written by Moses, continues into the life of Jesus Christ and ends with prophecies as to what the future holds in the Book of Revelation, so I think the Bible has a better chance of surviving the test of time.

I could see it being a real possibility. The thing I see with religions is that most religions claim that you must be of one particular faith or else... I see religion feeding on the element of separation (meaning to maintain a "we are separate" from each other)

Even though; I do not judge another for choosing to participate in a particular faith I personally feel that there is to many conflicting information being presented on many elements relating to God.

I can't grasp the concept and logic on why God would choose to create a game of "Russian Roulette" so to speak and take pleasure in observing humanity and placing bets to see how many of us will somehow choose the "right religion" and complete the list of so called "requirements" in order to attain an entrance into "Heaven"

For this reason alone, I can agree with some of the viewpoints of athesist.

the torah has proven its ability to withstand the ages. other religions have come and gone, but the torah and its followers have always remained, despite an amount of adversity that no other religion has ever faced.

I couldn't say. If and when it does happen I won't be around, that's for sure. You know as well as I do that for any one or all of the major religions to disappear, a major upheaval in humanity would have to happen.
