I would suggest excersizing. sure basketball may help, and stretching, etc.
If it helps you any, awhile ago i used to be a few inches smaller then my twin and she looked like a year older then me. Later on we went into a basketball program and i started growing towards her height. Now, im practically as tall as her. So, i guess sports did help me.
Also i heard that you stop growing until around the 20's so... ...Good Luck!

There's a great book called "What's Happening to My Body? A Book for Girls" by Linda Madaras. It says that girls usually have a growth spurt at the beginning of puberty which usually lasts less than a year. By the time of her first period, the growth will slow a little to 1-2 inches per year.

Girls usually reach their full adult height within 1-3 years after their first period.

You could still grow a lot, up to age 21 or so. Don't worry! I'm 25 and only 4'11". I know I'm not growing anymore. :-)

drink lots of milk. :D

you could always have cosmetic surgeries done. get leg braces and stuff to lengthen your legs. but that's not fun.
