I have this friend. She recently started having sex. Her vagina split... It is bleeding and won't stop. It has been for a long time. Is there a possibility that she, if it doesn't stop, bleed to death? And can she still have kids? Is she going to be ok if nothing is done about it? What will happen if nothing is done?

Vaginal tearing isn't necessarily life-threatening nor should it prevent her from having kids, but if left to heal on its own can lead to scarring which can affect sexual sensations or a misshapen look or possible infections. She should seek out a gynecologist to determine any damage and what may need to be done to heal correctly.

Wow, this is awful to hear about. I am sorry to hear that she had such a bad *first time*. She should have used some lubrication because obviously she didn't have the stretching power or the natural lubrication that most girls have.

She seriously needs to go to the health clinic and get a pelvic examination to make sure that her wounds do not get infected. And maybe a doctor or nurse can tell her how to have sex without it hurting her or splitting her.

tell her I said good luck, and get to a doctor, quickly!!

She needs to get to a gynecologist right away to find out what's going on. She could have some sort of infection. Some things, if not treated right away, could lead to permanent damage. It's always better to be safe than sorry. There are a lot of free clinics to go to. Look up Social Services in your phone book and start making calls from there. You will at least find someone who can tell you where to go.

Go to the doctor.....Bleeding that won't stop...I wouldn't need someone to tell me to go.
Yes you can die from blood loss, not to mention, IT'S AN OPEN WOUND. Can you say INFECTION. Now put the thinking cap on...

She could get an infection. If the blood loss is significant, then yes she needs to see a doctor as soon as possible.

If what and how you are describing this scenario is as such, she needs to "high-tail" it to the Ob-Gyn. What or who was/is she lying down with? King Kong? Tell her to be proactive and get busy mending that disaster.

Hahahahahahahahahah!!

Im sure it's probably normal without more details, but if it's really bleeding as bad as you say, and she hasn't gone to the emergency room to get it checked out, then wow.

I'm not going to step on a nail and ask if im going to get tetanus on yahoo answers, im going to go the emergency room.

Never heard of such a thing..
I don't know what her problem is but she
should probably see a doctor...
Vagina's are designed to pass babies..
A penis is nothing...

damn.. you tell her to check that out. Probably when she had sex or stuffing herself, she tore up a blood vessel and there have been cases that people died due to loss of blood. Go to the ER ... NOW!!
