The north and South have been seperated since the 1940's do you think they can still reunite? How? If they reunite, would they make a good country?

Yes that's possible. It's just a matter of cooperation between their governments and the will of the Korean people.

Remember that East Germany and West Germany became united after tearing down the Berlin Wall.

I believe that it can happen if North Korea goes down the same reform path as China did. In that case, they may develop an arrangement under which North Korea and South Korea unite,but each maintains its own political structure.One country,two systems, simular to what happened when China and Hong Kong united.

The only way as I see it for those two nations to unite again is for the complete toppling of one of the governments: South Korea's democratic system or North Korea's Juche Communism. Better the latter. But there are variables in the equation where reconciliation can be instituted equally for both sides.
