I have been having a runny nose and a sore throat. I freeze unless I have 4 blankets, my cat, and the heater set to 74 degreese and I cough so hard that I almost vomit. I've been to the doctor 2 times and she said that it is broncitus but it keeps comming back. I also have minor pain that causes some discomfort around my stomach area. What could it be?

Runny nose and sore throat scream autoimmune response to me. The chilling could be part of that but probably not. I think the coughing causes the nausea. You probably have chronic bronchitis. How old are you? Do you live in a reasonably clean atmosphere? Is kitty's box cleaned regularly? I would suggest a skin scratch test for allergies as it might be teaming up with your bronchitis. If you are allergic to something you come into contact with, you can get rid of it. If you are allergic to kitty, then take benadryl. I'm a cat co-habitator myself and wild horsees couldn't take 'em away! Good Luck.

Well, your stomach hurts because you have a lot of acidic mucous in it. And chorinc bronchitis can be problematic. She should be prescribing you inhalers and pills. Inhalers are the only thing which will help you get rid of the coughing and get you heavy breathing.

are you taking a prescription? are you taking all of it as directed? do you smoke? [bad].
the stomach discomfort is because of sore muscles due to coughing.
