RF stands for radio frequnecy. Any electronic device that transmits radio waves (cell phone, personal radio, cordless phone, and the like) all use RF signals.

RF stands for radio frequency, which covers the gamut from AM radio at about 560 kHz, up beyond microwave and into millimeter wave at 30 GHz:
