My gf tried claiming that a flight from Chicago to Florida only took one hour. Then I told her that a flight from Chicago to Washington took at least 2 hours. Please help me win this argument, I need another win under my belt.

Don't take it as another win under your belt. But as you were right. A flight from Pennsylvania to Florida is at least a little over 2 hours. A flight from Chicago to Florida is probably the same.

I think you two should take a flight from Chicago to Florida and join the mile high club.
If the flight takes only a hour you still win, lol

I live in Chicago. A flight to Florida will take more than 1 hour, unless it's on a supersonic jet. I mean SUPER supersonic. It would take about 2 hours or more on a typical passenger plane.

Should you care to go at the address below, you'll find that a flight between O'Hare and Miami International lasts at least 2:55 hrs. See for yourself.

Needless to say that you have to fill in the boxes of the departure and arrival airports

A flight from O'Hare to Orlando will take anywheres from 4 to 8 hrs. depending on the flight.
A flight from O'Hare to Reagan (DC) will take between 3 and 6.5 hrs. again depending on the flight.

depends on whether or not you take into consideration the time zone change....considering you'd be going forward in time by an hour......
say you left at 9 am, and it DOES take 1.5hrs to get there, in the end if you add the time zone change it will actually end up taking about 2.5-3hrs to get there depending on weather and if it is a direct flight or not......

;)

call a couple of flight agencies and find out for sure.....lol
