my cousin asked his girl to marry him by having a plate made at a clay/craft store to look like the plates where he was takig her. and had them engrave the question in it. he took her out like normal and she had no clue. he had already made arrangements with the restaraunt to serve her this plate. he also had a saying or something engraved but it was something personl that she would like. i don't remember what it was. but...i always thought it was a very creative idea and she had no clue.
just hope she doesn't order too much to eat! haha

Is there a place where you both love to go together, Like restrunt, beach, park. Take a picinic lunch or dinner. If dinner bring candles, a bottle of bubbley don't forget a blanket to sit on. Talk about the happy times.

Hire a singing band to sing the proposal to her at work, you be there too. Get them to make up a funny cute song about the two of you or something like that, ending with the proposal.

First of all.. whatever you do... DO NOT PUT IT IN SOMETHING EDIBLE!!!!! There goes your investment down her throat when she doesn't feel it in her mouth... or here comes a large dental bill for the tooth she damaged when she bit down on it.

That being said... there are alot of ways that you could do it that are unsual. My favorite is the complete suprise... like my fiance did... He was on one knee when I opened the door to his parent's house. I almost fell backwards. It was really cute :) My friend Rob put it in his underwear drawer and when his gf went to go help him put his laundry away there it was sitting there...

There is always a TV commericial or over the radio... although those get expensive.

There is the window shopping method.. if she really likes to shop... talk to a store in the mall and see if they will let you be a mannequin in their window with a sign and the ring and have her parents or a friend take her shopping..

If she likes to read ....You could buy her a book and hollow out the inside for the ring... (make sure the ring is in a box otherwise it could escape through the pages)

I hope you gets some cool ideas.... my husband cut an ad out of the paper that had a wedding ring on it and it said wives make the best business partners.... where is your favorite place to share together - maybe your fovorite place to eat? maybe you can work that in - maybe you could have your favorite radio station let you make a made up ad to go off at a certain time you are together and have it saying something about bad breath and then have you come on the say something to the affect of - " my girl has the fresh breath - I want to spend the rest of my life smelling it... "Mary" will you marry me?" and you can take the ring out of your pocket and say humm will you?- or thinking of something funny to do an ad on .... it would be fun... we see billboards... why not a radio Ad

well, there are lots of ways take her to see a movie, and as you walk in the door to have the theater sign say... I remember watching a show where a guy was dressed up in a costume/mascot and was unnoticeable. He asked a friend to ask her out to lunch, i.e. the girl's friend.
