No it's not weird. If there was something wrong with being a virgin at the age of 26 then they would have made a comedy movie called: 26 Year Old Virgin. But they didn't did they. They made: 40 Year Old Virgin.

A lot would say yes with todays society but think of it this way isn't it weird that the average age one loses there virginity is 13 that is more weird then being 26 and a virgin it is your choice your body and the fact youve waited and havent some may say is weird but it comes down to we just arent used to there still being virgins I say more power to you when you want to lose it you will and at least you wont be sitting there going over a huge list of everyone you've screwed. And it also is your personal decision don't let others put you down for it

Nope,

I know someone who waited until they were like 35 before having sex. I believe what the Bible says about sex (that it should only be reserved and exchanged between a husband and his wife). If you still aren't married, then no, it's totally not weird at all. Remember, other people can never get back what you have. If it makes you feel any better, I am older than you and still a virgin (and darn proud of it!). Other friends of mine are your age and still virgins. There are actually MANY people who have saved themselves to have sex in marriage and marriage only.

Is it weird? No. Unfortunetly, it does seem to becoming more of a rarity. But that still doesn't make it a bad thing. Other friends of mine who have "given in" before marriage all say that they wish they hadn't. The difference between you and others is that you are able to control yourself. To me, that isn't weird. It's the other people who are sort of "weird," because they can't control their desires.

Keep your commitment to stay pure. Your future wife will love you for it! :)

I am 26 & I am still a virgin. Never had a girlfriend, nor have I ever been on a date

Not weird at all!

Don't pay attention to the jealous people who said yes.

You should be commended. :) There are a lot of good reasons why it's good to be a virgin these days.

I know people who are older who are still virgins. I was a virgin until I was 32 (my choice).

I find it commendable that you haven't made sex the driving force of your relationships. You are probably not in the majority, but thats not necessarily a bad thing. You will know when the time and the person is right and hopefully it will be with the person you end up spending the rest of your life with. You will always remember your first time. Its much better when you don't have to remember a failed relationship to go with it.

well to a person whio is f*cked in the head it may be weird..However I think it shows great restraint. Perhaps if more people were like this there may not 1.5 million abortions per year in The US. So the answer is NO it is not wierd. It is good..

Are you kidding? I think it is wonderful. Sex ain't all it is cracked up to be anyway. It is a media game. Once the novelty wears off people slow down from many times a day to once a week, to once a month and so it goes. Have hobbies and interesting things to do and then your mind won't dwell on it. Keep it up...if you are doing it because you honor God and His commandments that is absolutely wonderful and blessed.
