I have a couple ideas for wedding favors for a May wedding. Small crowd - need only about 15 total. Also, we're giving out bubbles at the church.
Which is your fav: Cookie cutter with 'recipe for love', coffee or tea with 'love is brewing' cards, small candle holder with tealight or our color m&m/jelly beans wrapped in organza, 'Seeds of love' in silver pail?
Any other great ideas besides these? Thx a ton!

OH...and it's mostly the over 40 crowd attending, and I KNOW they're going to be keeping, even looking for, a favor. It's a tradition at every wedding they've ever attended, so I'd rather get them something useful.
Another idea I forgot to mention was mini silver frames or mini photo albums. I thought about adding in our pics for them to keep, but that route proved too expensive.
Thx again for your ideas and 'votes'.

For our wedding we had miniature wine bottles with labels put on them that had our names and wedding date on them. You can buy the wine fairly cheaply and print labels yourself. We added a small net with white almonds in it tied to the top but you don't have to do that. It was nice because on our anniversary we were able to have a toast with some friends and family with the wine from our wedding. The frames are a good idea as well, you can include a small wallet sized photo in your thank you notes for them to put in their frame. The picture does not have to be anything professional either, it can be a picture someone took at the wedding (everyone has a digital camera these days) or a picture of the two of you taken on your honeymoon. The options are endless!!
Congratulations and Good Luck

I LOVE this idea. It really makes the tables elegant. Since you are having a small wedding (like I did) you can splurge a little on the favors. I love having that freedom!

Also, this is a elegant variation of a common traditional favor. I always hated when people had matchbooks at weddings. I thought it was so tacky, but these are BEAUTIFUL! Im not suggesting to only have these, but to have these in addition to another favor.

I had so many little elegant things at my wedding for our guests to take home with them. Everyone loved everything. If you email me, I can send you pictures of what we had. Everything from the place card holders to little organza bags that held the candy of their choice (in our wedding colors of course) to wine glass charms (we had an all champagne reception). It was all so beautiful.

We did personalized votive holders with candles. We put various shades of pink, white, and silver votives in them and had them lit during the reception. It was nice and guest seemed to like them. (plus we had some left over, so I figure we can use them on our anniversaries, etc.
check out www.orientaltrading.com for more ideas or to buy (if you haven't already.) they have same things as a lot of the wedding specific sites and are much less expensive.

Candles, picture frames, or the m&m's in the color of your wedding, even though the older crowd might be looking for something more traditional!

yes, in my uncle and aunts wedding they had mini wine bottles wrapped around a pink bow with their picture on it in a beach smiling together very close. They are young still....I think (27 and 28), great aunt married late. It was a nice wedding, 300 people at least! go to http://www.dlshdesign.com/ for more ideas. This idea was from their company!
Don't worry, that site does not have a virus, it's legit.

You can get really pretty wine glasses at the dollar store and fill them with candies and nuts wrap them with clear cellophane and tie with ribbon. I was at a wedding with these and it looked so elegant but is not expensive or hard to make.

I've seen M&M's with the bride and groom pictures on them. They were in little tins for each guest. They were in the colors of the wedding party.

Gods. I actually know what website you're looking at. =)
We went with plain, silver little bells with crystal roses on top. $2 each, but well made. We tied a bit of ribbon around them in a bow and placed a tiny faux rosebud in the center of each. It represented every color in the wedding (green, pink, white and silver),too. ^^
