Can a 80 year old lady that has been taking Medication for a number of years get Hair Perms with damaging her hair ?

without ? yes, unless she is on cancer meds, then all bets are off.

The medications that she is on should not affect her ability to process her hair. You would have to list the medications to get an absolute answer of course. I would suggest looking up the names of the meds on the net, there is a whole lot of info listed, and most of it is in laymans terms and very easy to understand. If all else fails, contact your doctor, he will be able to furnish you with the best answer.
