You dont want to use k9 advantix on a pup that young, however advantage is safe as early as 9 weeks, so get you some of that. Once you put the drops on the dog, then you need to wait 48-72 hours before bathing (and you dont want to apply it unless it is 48 hours after a bath as well. It depends on what kind of worms he has.. if they are curly and long, then they are roundworms and can be transmitted if the fecal matter is ingested.. so just dont let your kids play around where he has pooped and then not wash their hands. If the worms are flat and rice-looking (short) then the dog has tapeworms which you cant get. Tapeworms come from swallowing an infected flea, so this would make sense. Only treat the tapeworms with meds dispensed by a vet, IMPORTANT: the prodocts you buy in the store for deworming only "aid in the removal of tapeworms", meaning they detach the eggs from the intestine but NOT the head of the worm so the tapeworm can continue to reproduce and soon will be reinfested.

Too young for that. Try baby powder lightly from the neck down to the tip of the tail & everywhere in between..Wash bedding in bleach & vaccuum alot.No flea powder.
Get rid of worms. Ask vet for the proper meds for the type of worm they have & for the right amount according to the pups weight. Follow directions.

If the fleas are on the dogs interior the abode then they are everywhere interior the abode. There are flea powders accessible which you will placed on the rug, bypass examine Petsmart, Petco. while you're moving then, on the day of the circulate, i could provide your doggy a bath with a medicated shampoo to kill the fleas earlier going to the hot place. examine with the vet to work out what could be secure for a three month previous doggy, some products are purely sturdy for grownup canines. Or on the day of the circulate take the doggy to the groomers and have them guard the fleas, yet i don't be responsive to if groomers take 3 month previous doggies.

Fleas are a major pest. There are various species of fleas - cat fleas, dog fleas, rat fleas and rabbit fleas.
You can get rid of them by the safest and cheapest methods like boric acid.

All cats and dogs are born with worms that's why when you bring them to their first check up with the vet they give you a dewormer which they'll tell you how to use. Pups catch fles and ticks from the mother usually from being outdoors.

Has he had his first vet visit yet? They really should take care of this, he's so young you might accidentally poison him. Baby powder can be rough on the lungs.
