the best mouthwash is actually one without alcohol in it. alcohol drys out your mouth and will lead to halitosis. also, tongue scrapers you can pick up at your local cvs work. brushing your tongue and drinking plenty of water are good as well. also, parsley naturally fights bad breath, that is why it is served on the side of dishes at most restaurants. a little more than you needed to know, but if you follow this, you wont have it! also, brush 3 times a day. ACT mouthwash is the kind I use!

Probably Listerine or another kind that kills germs.

However, mouthwash can't cure bad breath on its own. Flossing is extremely important, as is brushing the teeth and the tongue.

If bad breath is persistent, it may be a stomach problem rather than a mouth problem.

halatosis is bad breath and it can be from bad hygiene (not flossing or brushing) and also can be from your stomach. Certain diets can cause bad breath as well, (Atkins).etc. Have a twice yearly dental check-up and rule out decay or gum disease. Avoid rinsing your mouth with peroxide (too drying) and remember that no matter how much rinse you use you are only masking a more serious issue. See your dentist.
