You can never go wrong with a black and white wedding (if you like the formal feel). I got married last March and everyone wore black (cept me of course!) and I had red tulips. My sister got married in July (night wedding) and also had a black and white (with pink accents/flowers because shes really girly). I think if you are leaning toward the summer dates and are having a daytime wedding, yellow flowers with green bridesmaids dresses look nice for outdoor events.

Go to davidsbridal.com for some ideas. Since you have time to plan, look at catalogues for upcoming months and save them. They pick all the color schemes in their catalogues to match the season their in.

GOOD LUCK AND CONGRATS!

Sorry, but it is WAY too early to start any real planning on a wedding that far out. 12-14 months is plenty of time to plan. Anything you select now will be discontinued when your wedding plannig actually CAN start, and the prices for everything will ahve changed as well.

All you should be doing now is socking away money.
