I just visited the emergency room, and got treated by a HUNK of a doctor. I mean, this guy was so hot, I almost forgot about my wound. And considering the injury was on my chest, I got the added pleasure of having to watch him apply ointment to it. (sigh) I wanted to show interest, but somehow, I didn't think it was appropriate considering the whole doctor/patient thing. Was I right to keep my mouth shut?

There is nothing wrong with flirting with someone, especially giving you that type of attention he was giving you.(hint, hint) If he were to ignore your flirting, then you would have known if he was interested or not. Next time, just go with the flow of the atmosphere. The fact that he's a doctor, was respectful of you, but it is expected of him. Should you have flirted and he found interest in you, well, there you go...a date with a doctor...Now you know though...and it's great that you are a respectful sista! Yes, it's crass and you were right to keep your mouth shut.
He's trying to work and all he sees in you is another patient with another problem. I highly doubt he would even remember you if you went back the next day.

hehe...well, starting the relationship at the hospital is taboo, however; if you see him out of the hospital he's free game... You can voice your opinion to him...he can't reciprocate.
