I had it done on both feet. The pain of the surgery wasn`t as bad as the pain I was having from the bunions. It was worth the discomfort I went through to have it done.

Yes I had surgery on both of my feet at the same time. the worst part of the surgery was where the doctor took some bone marrow out of my ankle. That hurt more than the surgery. Then you have to use crutches that make your armpits hurt. That bothers you more than the surgery. The surgery itself didn't hurt as much as I thought it would. In the long run, it made my feet feel a lot better than they did before the surgery.

It is after operation, it will last for two days. I will suggest a strong pain killer for those days. My daughter in law are both nurse and they helped sedate me when the pain was overwhelming. But the result is good as I dont have to suffer with the bunion pain, so I can truly say it is worth it.

I have a close friend who did. She was in a boot for a couple months and was tough. I can't imagine getting your bones sawed off feeling great. She never complained, but feels much better now . . .
