You'll have to do breathing exercises to control your feelings. I would suggest this:

Lay flat on your back, with your palms placed flat on the floor. Now breathe in slowly with your eyes closed and make your abdomen bulge slowly while you inhale and make it come back to the initial position while you exhale. Concentrate on your breathing and do this for about 2-5 mins. In would suggest you to count 1 while inhaling and 2 while exhaling, 3 while inhaling and 4 exhaling and so on.

You can do this every morning when you wake up or just before you go to bed. This will not not only control anxiety but make you slow to anger and other emotions as well.

If you always feel jittery and have panic attacks, you could have GAD (Generalized Anxiety Disorder). I'm not saying you do have, only that you might.

If it interferes with your life, you should probably see a therapist or psychiatrist. If you're in school, you should be able to cop a free session with a school counselor and proceed from there.

I wound up having to take Buspar, a non-tranquilizing non-habit forming anti-anixiety medication. It works great and does not zone you out or anything.

But you must see some sort of mental health professional to determine whether or not you even need something like that. You may be able to get away with some sort of relaxation regimen like meditation, guided breathing, etc.

If you do, watch out for the habit-forming stuff liek Ativan, Xanax, librium, valium, etc. Many of these sorts of drugs fall under the classification of Benzodiazepines; not only are they habit forming, but they have potential for abuse.

I have the same symptoms and it turns out mine is because of ADD. Sometimes those are the symptoms of hyperactivity. Think about when you get these feelings/attacks the most? Maybe you have General Anxiety Disorder or it could also be hyperthyroidism. Panic attacks and anxiety can stem from depression or other medical problems. I'd ask your doctor...anxiety is no fun and it could be a hormonal imbalance that could be corrected. Good luck! Btw, when I get those feelings I take deep breaths, step away from whatever situation is upsetting me (if any) and ask myself "why am I feeling this way and do I have a legitimate reason to be upset or nervous?" Sometimes I can actually talk myself out of panic!

I personally have suffered with panic attacks for years, with no help at all from medication (this is me, of course. If meds work for you, take them.) Most people have panic attacks that last just seconds or minutes. Mine would last for hours at a time.
The most important thing to remember that when one occurs, you are going to be alright. If you start thinking about being dizzy or not breathing (lots think they are having a heart attack), you will induce further panic. Also, see if you can notice if certain foods bring them on(caffeine is an obvious one). Take notice of what you've ingested before the onset of one.Try to eliminate activities that bring them on.If you have an attack, try to lie down. I know that I would often pace during one, and that would make it worse.
I don't know how old you are, but some have a tendency to outgrow them. i had my first one at 15, but now at 32 I usually only have them one a year, at most. Talk to your doctor and see what the right treatment will be for you.

Try the relaxation techniques first, but if they don't work, you might have to see a doctor & go on meds. I resisted it for years & suffered needlessly. Sometimes it's physical (hormones, head trauma, etc)

You need to learn how to relax, take deep breaths. Learn how to be positive and not the opposite.
Sometimes what we worry about never do happen.

It's all in the mind. Start now to know philosophy to control yourself. The book I recommend you is the Bible. Look at the concordance on Fear, Anxiety, Stress and it will console you. Hold up to those words and you will be alright.
