this is a difficuklt question i guess...but when ever i speak to a mate, and they see my ex they say things like...she is so pretty ,or she was really nice etc..you shouldnt have let her go, or you should hold on to her? what do they mean by that?

They just don't understand what went sour in your relationship with her. You and I know relationships are a difficult thing, alot of compromise and communication has to happen and just sometimes they don't work out. Sometimes a split is necessary when one is hurting the other. A relationship means alot of hard work and sometimes some are just not possible to keep alive. so, instead of you two being miserable, it's best to split.

They might be intimidated by her because of the way she looks or because you speak highly of her. She might have been a good person and they feel like they cant compare to what she may have been. These women are insecure...don't worry about it and find a chick with some confidence. Women are a trip.

They are explaining it when they said it...Not everyone is so blessed to get a girlfriend as pretty and nice as you. They think it was a mistake to not do all you can to keep her. But maybe you know her better and have to allow them to have their opinions.

they mean that you shouldnt have broken up with her and kept her as your girlfriend because she was so nice and kind and pretty etc.

They mean that she was a great girl and that one day you will be sorry your not with her anymore. They just don't understand why you broke it off. I'm sure you had a good reason.

They are telling you that women like that are very hard to find. You should have stayed with her because no one else will be as good as her.
