If you're young it's most likely a fibroadenoma, which is common in women under the age of 30. A fibroadenoma is non-cancerous tissue, usually found as a solitary lump, is quite round and moves around. If you can move your lump when you push on it with your finger, that's a very good sign :o)

Otherwise, it might be a cyst, which is also not cause for worry.
Have a doctor examine you. You may then need a breast ultrasound or a breast x-ray.

You cannot reasonably expect people on Yahoo Answers to diagnose you with breast cancer. Most breast lumps are not cancer, however, you need to have a breast ultrasound (painless) and be seen by a breast care center to make sure its not dangerous

Most women/girls have lumpy breats, i know that may sound funny but thats what my doctor told me at a physical. Although, it could be a cyst or just a fatty lump. You should keep a close eye on it and if it becomes gradually bigger and or tender get to a doctor ASAP.
And if you are very worried about it right now, you should get on the phone to a doctor ASAP and book an appointment.

i guess by asking this question.. you are starting to get worried?

the best option would be going to the doctors and getting a checkup on it. early cancer detection is always better.

not all lumps on breasts lead to breast cancer, however.
