Just by asking this question it is apparent that you are not ready to consider marriage... by anyone! As you said, your "only" 20 yrs old. You know your too young to make a decision like that, doesn't even matter who the guy is!

Why would you marry someone you haven't even been in a relationship with? You say you had a thing that was hot (sex, most likely!) but there's more to a marriage than that. Marriage is about love, honor, respect, committment, and trust. Not about having "a thing". I can tell you're young and you are not ready for such a huge step so stay single and wait to you mature a little more before you think about marriage.

Why are you asking such a question in Yahoo Answer in the first place? Are you plain retarded or dumb? Or are you just messing around? Anyway if you are actually seriously none of the above. Then here is my answer.

Only you can make that decision. Its impossible for anyone here to give you the right answer. Ask yourselves a few questions?
Do you think you are matured enough for such a complex life long commitment as marriage? Are you ready to handle the responsibilities and sacrifices that it requires?
Is the person suitable for you?
In the long run do you think you might be happy?
What does your parents, friends and family think?
Do you love the person, do you think you can love the person?

honey, i think that is your answer. if you are not sure now i would say give it some time. you aren't even together. i would ask what prompted him to pop the question under these circumstances. i would ask him if you could date for awhile. actually be a couple together before you ever embark on such a crazy little trip. then if things feel right and good and you've dated for awhile and everyone knows you as a couple and you work as a couple then you can think about vows and such. i would also go to marriage counseling i know that sounds reversed but they have alot of great insights. hope this helps....

Do you love the guy? Does he love and respect you?Consider all the responsibilities and changes that come along with marriage , then if you feel you are ready, do it. I think it is a big step you should take only if you both feel you are ready.

Don't rush into something that you are not sure of. You need to feel a true deep connection. Two halves make a Whole. If he isn't the half that makes you whole, move on.

If you love him, then yes. I was married at 20 to the man I will spend the rest of my life with. It can happen.

Sounds to me like a "no" at the moment. People change over time, and you need to see how you relate now. It doesn't sound like it's hot anymore...?
