I know about the flood and the tower of babel. Didn't he also wipe out Sodom and Gomorrah? Are there other times when he just went off like that?

He did Not Just Go Off like That ok, The Bible is So Distorted it very confusing,& even at time very contradoctry, If you can do so,I think you would Gain great answere to All your Religious Questions, if U could Do a Schollers Study of the Bible,You do it via, The Enclyopedia,Briticania,All the Missrepesenting,Digma/s & what Mankind has added & subtracted from the Bible, It is completly focussed on exactly Jesus' real words,actions & life-death, You can also do a bible study Like my Brother & I have done,but not being in the Christian BOX, there are Pasters,probably very hard to find,than back in the 80s, to be open-minded & to question & learn the difference between the Real Jesus & what mankind has misentrepeted,You need to find a Paster whom is so intouch with the HOLYSpirit! only these pasters are open-minded & value your questions,ect:- as a teacing tool for those trapped in their square boxes! Hope in todays society Y can find such a person.

He went off on Egypt with 10 plagues. Knocked down Jericho's walls. Ordered the slaughter of all the Caananites - men, women, children, even animals. Later he sends some bears to kill some naughty kids.
Maybe getting used to the whole God thing was stressing him out, so he just kept going postal.

God can do whatever He pleases with His creation . He is the Potter, and the clay cannot legitimately question the Potter's methods or purposes (see Isaiah 29:16; Jeremiah 18:1-11). He, as sovereign ruler over His creation, is under no obligation to tell us why he chooses as he does.)))

Rom. 9:20: The truth that Paul is expressing here is the overall point that is made in the book of Job. God never did explain Himself to Job as Job had insisted that He do.
Instead, God rebuked Job for his "know it all" attitude (Job 38:18). God basically asked Job what right he had to maintain his own integrity at the expense of God's (Job 40:8).
Job got the message when God spoke to him from a whirlwind and he humbled himself (Job 42:2-6). Paul's message should bring the same response from us.

he opened the earth to swallow about 250 people (read about Korah).
and he had a bear bust up shop after some kids teased Elijah!!

sent Gabriel to kill 100,000 troops.
destroyed the egyptian's chariots in the sea.
destroyed the dinosaurs.
plagued egypt (you know..the enslavers)

i don't know, but there was that party where he turned water into wine. so i guess he mellowed out later on because woooooo! free wine.
