I am trying to push my 2 premiers to the max and this amp has enough power to do that. Can you look these up for me to answer all my questions??

Is this amp good because I know the subs are?

What type of gauge wire should I use for this system?

What kind of capacitor should I use? 3 Farad?

Can I hook up a battery to this and how?

Show me a couple different ways I can hook up the amp and subs and tell the way where I would get the most bass??

What else should I do to optimize my system??

Any other info would be GREAT because I do not know much about this subject!!!

Thanks

whoa whoa whoa whoa. stop everything. you've got a great pair of subs, why are you trying to push them with a Pyle of crap? ok, i'll answer your questions in order.

your subs will only sound as good as your amp is. and your amp will only be as good as your subs are. if you had the best sub in the world, and hooked it up to a crappy amp, you would be disapointed, and probably blame it on the sub.

whats the rms on the 3000's? isnt it 1,000 watts? i think it is. if you really going to run a 2,000 watt system your going to need 1/0 gauge wire, and probably atleast a 200 amp inline fuse.

good rule of thumb is for every 1,000 watts of power use 1 Farad. so 2,000 watts, 2 Farad

yes, you have to buy a amp kit, and run the wire through the fire wall, under the carpet, and to the trunk.

well first off more watts doesnt always mean more bass. for example, i bet that if you hooked up your subs to your 2,000 watt Pyle amp, they wouldnt hit as hard as when you hooked them up to a 1,000 Kenwood Excelon amp.

a 2,000 watt system? upgrade the alternator to atleast 150 amp output, and get a optima red or yellow top battery.

really? could have fooled me. if you buy cheap crap (Pyle lighting audio dual) its gonna sound and act like cheap crap. go into where ever you got the Premiers from and ask them what they recomend as far as the amp goes. then go on ebay and buy it. but with your lack of knowlage i strongly, strongly recomend you let someone that knows what there doing install all of this for you. IMO your gonna get in over your head, and fast.

good luck, and post something else if you have any other questions. or you can e-mail me Metallman56@yahoo.com
