After today, when my doctor needed me 'cough' eight times... and then the prostate exam isn't fun

Most definately.

A number of years back I was sent to see a specialist (I used to drive trucks and had fallen from the top of my load, flat onto the ground) and he told me that I would need some tests done.

I asked him what was involved in one of the tests (similar to an MRI) and he snickered and said "Something you women are used to. Just have to lie flat on your back!"

I was livid with anger. I didn't say anything at the time, but when I went back for the results and he handed me my bill I looked at him and said "What do you expect me to do with that?"

He said that it was my bill for the consultations. I looked at him with such hatred and said to him, "Well, you can do with that what all you men do with bills. Pay it yourself!" And walked out.

He tried to get the money from me, even threatening to take me to court. I was one step ahead, I had already reported him and was advised not to pay the bill anyway.

*snickers* Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned!

There are some great doctors out there, but there seem to be just as many who fall into the "arrogant bastard" category.

I've never had one try to touch me in a way that is improper...one things for sure...it's time to find a new doc...unless she's cute :-)

When I learned it wasn't his finger he was using for the prostate check, yeah I got kinda upset.
