I see people that do not question Adam and Eve AT ALL.

These beliefs, stories, etc are written by humans, not God. The fact is that these 'holy books' are people's beliefs. I mean in one religion it says Jesus is the ONLY way. Jesus claimed to be the SON of god, maybe what he met is we are all his sons and daughters. Jesus had his own beliefs and branched off from his jewish faith, which many people overtime did also.

What I think is that we should live rightful lifes, cling on the what time we have, enjoy everything, be a good person, and never deny God, just question who God is. I will never deny the existence of God, but I will always question it.

I never said I was atheist you stereotypes, i'm not trying to convert anyone too.

I believe in God, I just question God and what God is. I don't find it possible to not believe in God, but I also don't find it possible to even fully have faith in God.

You should question it. The more you question it the more you will realize that it is to be taken seriously. It was physically written my men but it was first spoken by God.

I agree with you. Only God can judge you.

its totally obvious you have never read the Bible nor any other religious book as you clearly have no intelligence on the matter.

The Bible speaks of the Koran and other books, it tells you what to do about these books. It tells you everything if you just read it.

And most think Eve came from Adam and that means its incest. Well Eve was created from the last rib that was TAKEN from Adam. Ever wonder why Man, and ONLY MAN, not woman or any other manual on the planet can lose their last rib and it will GROW BACK ON ITS OWN. Bones that regenerate? what? no way? Its MEDICAL PROOF AND FACT.

So explain....if it is just a book by man and even OLD OLD man at that..... that had no medical knowledge at all....how did they know to make up a story about a rib being taken to create a woman and that, that rib would grow back in man and only man?

Come on....be rational.

You want to prove it all to yourself? Get a bible or even get online to a bible site. The bible even states that God will guide your right hand to the questions you seek. You use a mouse with your right hand....he will guide you through the book to the answers you seek.

Back on Thanksgiving I asked why do we even deal with this holiday...being Native Indian and all.....well I was led to a passage in the Bible that stated Thanksgiving and talked about it all. NEVER in my dreams had I realized it was even in there.

Don't listen to the fools that have never read it and put it down as nothing more than garbage. Even science can't figure out how the book can be so acurate and even told the future 1000's of years before parts were written.

Good site for an online bible would be:

http://www.biblegateway.com/

I grew up as a non believer, balked at the shrowd of Turin, etc....then I opened my eyes and mind and I saw the truth. I don't go to church and I am not a pushy preaching type....but I 100% believe without a doubt.

If you really get into it, it can be a very fasinating book, better than any book man has written.

I suggest you begin research into quantum physics. you can start by watching the film "What The Bleep Do We Know." Quantum Physics is the scientific study of spirituality, creating irrefutable, reproducable evidence of the nature and inner workings of the universe.

These experiements confirm some of the statements and implications made in the bible, but for the most part it proves the bible inaccurate. However, researchers have searched back into history and found the original writings of those who lived during the life of jesus, who recorded some of the claims he spoke. Most of these claims have since been proven scientifically.

For example: Jesus never claimed to be the only son of God, infact his famous tagline is actually a mistranslation. He did at some points claim to be the son of God, but not as if it were an important piece of previously unknown information. The correct translation has him claiming to be the SUM of God, a collection of particles that are equally Godly. In other words, he meant that not only humans but all matter in the universe are the sons and daughters of God, and this has been proven as so.

I too will always try to question God for what and how it is (I don't appoint God any gender stereotype), but more importantly I will always try to challenge God, to help God, to use God, to trust God, to LOVE God.

Moses of Egypt is recorded as having asked God what God is. God replied simply:
"I am that I am."

- It's cool that you'll never deny God, that's a hard core start, learning is people's next step, which your now already doing by asking questions,( which shows leadership qualities might I add )
if you can get a hold of a Bible, look up 2 Timothy- 3:16, to see where we get the seriousness about the scriptures in the Bible. Also, 2 Peter 1:20,21. These are hard core that are a direct hit on your question YO. Hey, trip on John 1:1. then trip on John 1:14. Christians, (Christ people ) Are called by God to learn the scriptures & stand our ground. Most of all to hold God to his written word. If Christions do not take the Bible seriously then nobody will, & thats exactly what the devil & his demons are hoping for, they are here to steal, kill, & to distory . . . It's these who want your family & friends. It's also these who oppose you using your leadership qualities tword Jesus Christ. Many you know are depending on your leadership qualities tword Christ . . . Knowing how to fistfight in spiritual warfare using the hard core written word of God is sooooo radical when fighting for the people you care about, giving socks in the face to the smirk of the enemy.

It is a very interesting book actually, and contains some real spiritual wisdom in some parts. You should not throw the baby out with the bath water here. It is the main source of information on the life and teachings of Jesus Christ and the early Christians who established the Christian religion. Men make religions and write books. God made the universe. It will all be sorted out some day, one hopes with a good result. In the mean time we must make the best of what we are given. Good luck to you in your spiritual journey.

The world as explained by naturalism aka science is cold, pessimistic, and quite cruel. Humans are just animals and animals act according to chemical reactions and statistical models. There is no morality, no good or evil, and things just happen because of cause and effect and for no other higher reason.

Most humans do not like this model of reality as it makes them feel worse and it lowers their self-esteem. Throughout human evolution, traits in humans that increase survival are preserved and many believe that one of these it the desire for religion to provide an explanation that boost their self-esteem and makes them feel special.

The importance of the bible is that it is authoritative. People often get into conflict with other humans and they want something to clearly say what is right or wrong, and the bible does this. The bible helps people know what is right or wrong or else there is no right or wrong.

For example, the bible teaches that you should not steal, worship only one god, and love others as you love yourself. The bible also teaches other things like you should not wear flashy jewellery, should not have sex with animals, should not have sex with people of the same gender, women should serve the man because God made man first, and children who disobey their parents must be stoned, etc.

Faith is pretty much the key. You need to have faith in Jesus. God inspired those people to write what they did. He told them what to write. God himself testifies that Jesus is his son, over and over. Ask Jesus into your heart. Ask him to forgive you of your sins and to cleanse you and to make you a new person in him. Then you'll see the truth. The Holy Spirit will live inside of you and he'll guide and help you. It says at the end of revelation that if anyone tampers with the word, they're in BIG trouble. Check out Revelation 22:18-19. You'll have to stand face to face with him one day! The only way to the Father is through the Son. This is the hardest thing for people to understand because the devil doesn't want them to! It's the truth, you can stand on that. Seek and you will find.

There is nothing at all wrong with questioning anything. If you dont question, you dont learn. Im a christian (not brain washed) and not a follower of man. I follow what I believe in my heart that my Lorg as led me to believe. I have my own personal reasons for accepting my religious beliefs that I really dont think karma, coincidence or just plain ol fate can ever manage or explain.

The Bible is one of the most profound pieces of literature today.

The Bible is one of the oldest religious documents that people are still reading and studying today.

The Bible tells the history of possibly the World's oldest religion, Judasim or Yahwehism.

Yes men did write the Bible. However, when ever you consider its contents its difficult to believe that God did not have a hand in it.

The Bible has been written over a period of more than 3,500 years and yet it NEVER contradicts itself in terms of theology.

Theoretically the bible could consist of one single word and those that believed in God would be answered.

everybody says it is the word of god but what they dont realize most gospels have differant versions of the same account, for example when Jesus rose from the dead some gospels say he was greeted by one angel another gospel says he was greeted by two angels another said he was just greated by mary, if it was written by the word of god wouldnt it cantain the truth of what happend and not several versions of one account, this is a perfect example of how stories get changed over time by man
