i've been on accutane for the past 2 weeks....i've tried really hard to lose the baby fat and i dont want to gain all that back because of accutane......anyone has any experiences with accutane that makes you gain weight?

I'm a female, and I took accutane for a 5 month period when I was 16, and I guess I was lucky in that it did not cause weight gain for me (although I was a little chunky in high school so maybe I just didn't notice-hee hee!) BUT regardless, the end result of taking the accutane was well worth the side effects that I endured during the process (being extremely sensitive to the sun, incredibly dry lips, joint pain), although I should add that there are some very adverse side affects, as I'm sure you know, so keep paying attention to your body and seeing your doctor. I'm a pharmacist. Accutane is known to cause weight gain.
