Hun calm down I have few options for you. I have med wavy hair pretty tick and a lot... it gets wild on summer and super dry when I abuse with the swimming pool. Seriously I look like a lion with my hair super puffy..so I have the solution for ya.. :)
First make sure u SHAMPOO is not too strong for u hair..try a light or GENTLE shampoo hervals are good u can find wide variety of prices and brands.. Baby shampoo r great also. Good and non expensive brands: Pantene (i love this brand!) Garnier fructious or somethimg like that(green bottle)
Use CONDITIONER and a HAIR MASK everytime u wash u hair. NO you dont really have to spend a lot of $$$ to get a good product. There are good brands that are cheap: vo5 has few dif masks and the twon brands I mentioned before r good.
Place to find them WALMART* (best choise cheaper!), TARGET,KMART , WALGREEN
A HOMEMADE HAIR MASK which is AMAZING** and a bit weird but Really effective is this: Mayonaise and a bit of fresh lemon juice (cut lemon in half and use few drops) Lemon will bring a natural shine to u hair. Leave "THIS MIX" on your hair for at least 15minutes.. what I do I get my hair a bit humed then put the "mayonaisse mixture" put a shower hat on and watch Tv, do laundry and home stuff and try to leave it on HAIR as lond as possible, u can breid it and then u wont look s weird around. I will recommend to do this on a Saturday because u want to make sure u hair dont smell by Monday at work... the smell is not that strong if u use after it a smelly shampoo to rinse it out and a conditioner like Pantene.. yes I use both after the mask. More conditioner! I did and it works!!! Remember if u r doing the mayo mask" you put it on your hair before any shampoo..then shampoo. The conditioner is optional if u need a boost on the hair to have it even softer go for it!.
After you rinse your mask , aplyed and rinse the pantene conditioner. dry u hair and comb never use a brush with wet hair..it will break it easier use a comb for curly hair even though u have no curly hair..this type is more gentle for u hair.
After untangle u hair. Apply some clear SHINE SERUM. Good brands ;citrus shine, sammy Their is tons (prices $5-10 at the stores I mentioned u should not pay more than $10 in another brand) I use citrus shine from Walgreen it was like $6 very good. Apply some drops on all your hair using u fingers dont apply too much either,
Now afteru hair is with enough monsturising and humid..not soaking wet (u already comb it and dry a bit gently with towel)
APPLY SOME HAIR GEL(size of a quarter for each half hair of the hair ( I have long hair (they cover a bit my chest so u know) u might need one quarter size portion only...Pay special attention around the for head and front and end of the hair. Use a gentle control type not too stong or MAX control. Brands: SHINE, Vo5..there is also a brand named "PLACENTA" is like bronwnish color is just $2 and his great gentle enough and huge portin and great price. Try it or just go by a better know brand if u prefer.
If u have short hair then u are done...just let it dry.
Okay now FOR MED-LONG hair: after u hair has been well treated moinsturizing with , natural mask", conditioner" and the serum and gel for control when it dries..you will have tocomb again with a brush this time, so it looks sleek and straigh and make a braid or if you have a short hair do a "donut" with u hair( pony tail then twist hair to make it uniorm rollup the hair around the hair band like a donut ,u hair should be tide so its sleek on the first 6 inches of u hair. Let it dry. (mine takes about 3 hours until is fully dry) I just finish with braid and forget about it..leave it all day usually. You will have a hair totally in control, silky and looking good... It may takes few days untli your hair get used to but, RESULTS ARE AMAZING .. Another thing or mistake u r doing is that u might wash u hair tooo often if u hair is not oily and rather dry- tooo dry you just need to wash it once a week...You will be surprise how help full your natural oil do to your hair. I always hav my hair stoning and I just wash it on weekends once a week is okay. You wont never tell I just do it once a week..It save u a lot of work tooo. I read it on a magazine not all hair are mean t to be washed daily! trust me it works!!
I hope allll my onfo helps Iam so excited for u. Please try it and let me know how it go. We all want to know. You will love this TRICK HUN.
GOOD LUCK.. I HOPE this information help you :) and Iam sure it will just do it! I did it!!!! Keep us updated please post u results on here in few day...
PSS: In the past I went to a beauty suply like Sally I paid like $25 dollars in product and they were not as effective as this trick. this is awesome and 100% guarantee that works..cheaper too!

Go to the salon and get it deep conditioned. If you don't want to do that then I'd suggest investing in some deep conditioner that you can buy straight from the salon or maybe even Sally's, etc. Get some of that and leave it in your hair overnight, wrapped in a towel. Might be uncomfortable but I promise this helps. It may not be ultra moisturized the next day, it might take some time. I had tons of highlights put in my hair long ago and it came out SO dry it was even breaking apart when I'd brush it. I just made sure to be very careful when brushing it and conditioned it like I just told you to do, and in time it healed on its own. Good luck!

You need to use moisturising conditioners, and good ones at that, right after you shampoo your hair. Apply the conditioner, wrap a warm towel around your hair, stay for 20 mins and then completely rinse off.
Also, do not shampoo your hair often. Maybe just twice a week or so. Also don't apply a lot of shampoo to the let down hair, just a little on your scalp. But apply the conditioner only to your let down hair.
After shower, you MUST use a frizz-free serum on your hair, and then blow dry it.
This should possibly help.

Some of the following suggestions may seem a little weird but
if you want softer hair-once a week mix a few drops of Honey in your shampoo and shampoo normally and rinse well
Add Shine-Rub tea-tree oil all over your head leave for 5 minutes shampoo
Protect-heat protection spray before blowing and straightening hair
De-Frizz-Do not towel dry hair if curly but with paper towels
No Grease-1/2 cup lemon juice, 1/2 water pour over head and wrap in a hot towel for 10 minutes shampoo and rinse
Revive Dull Hair-**THIS IS WEIRD**Once a month pour mayonnaise over head and leave like that for 20 minutes shampoo twice to get mayo out****PEOPLE SWEAR IT WORKS****
Brighten-*For Brunettes*Use Pantene Pro-V Blonde Expressions it brings out the lighter tones in hair
Condition-Shampoo and Conditioning your hair every day is bad so every day use conditioner and every other day use shampoo
Body-Even if you don't have dandruff use a dandruff shampoo it adds volume
Cleanse-Alternate shampoos every other days clarifying and moisturizing
I HOPE THIS SET OF TIPS HELP!!!

If you're not having any luck with normal conditioners...
Warm some vegetable oil in a cup...in the microwave is possible, but you're better off resting a cup full of oil in a larger cup or bowl of hot tap water until the oil is warm, but not HOT.
Then apply it to your hair and let it sit for a while. (30 minuites about).. then wash it out. Condition as normal.
Then don't wash your hair for two days.
Overwashing your hair can strip it of it's natural oils and make it dry and bushy. Try to avoid washing your hair every day.
Or if you do, buy a gentle kid's two in one shampoo + conditioner.
I personally like Aussie's 3 minuite miracle conditioner. It helps to keep my hair from frizzing.
Anyway. Vegetable oil works, and so does mayonaise. Real mayonaise is basically eggs and oil. It sounds gross, but it helps lock in moisture.

Hey there,
I use to have the same problem!
But then a friend recommended me a shampoo, which worked really great.
It doesn't really matter which shampoo you use, as long as it says that it is for dry hair!
And after showers apply baby oil to your hair which leaves it feeling smooth and sleek.
After that when you blow dry it it will feel wonder, I guarantee you!
Anyway hope this helps!

Try using a moisturizing conditioner after shampooing your hair and a good leave-in conditioner before you blow dry your hair.

Use olive oil o your hair while it's wet then blow it dry.
It will feel really greasy, but the oil will absorb into your hair by the time you finish drying it.
