Um, it isn't true. There are plenty of men who get very attached and focused on a relationship and there are plenty of women who have a frivolous attitude about their partner. You're reacting to cultural stereotypes of men and women.

dont judge us all by the minority..most girls are like that but hey there r sum that rnt.. if u want a chick that isnt into serious relationships then hunt around an im sure ull meet one, just make sure she knows ur intentions of keepin it casual so no one gets hurt...

This is not true at all. Some people are serious, some aren't. You can't say guys aren't serious, and girls are, as I've seen the opposite too.
It just depends on the person.

I think because little girls have always been the one playing housewife when they were little thinking about their future husband.... And then it just kind of made it into reality and obsession at that.
