ok i like this boy but my friend likes him too he does not like her at all i have know him for so long but so has she. He has alaways been like my bestfriend i want to take it to the next level and so does he should i even though my friend likes him too?????

If your friend is very important to you, and you don't want to hurt her feelings then you could both agree that neither of you will go after him. But if it is more important to you that you be his girlfriend then you should do that. If she is a good Friend she will not be hurt and respect your choice and his, and stay friends with you. If she doesn't want to be friends with you, then she probably was not a good friend in the first place. Good Luck.

I agree that you should talk to your friend. Let her know how you and he feel and ask her what she thinks about the two of you getting together. If she says no, than don't. I don't think any guy is worth losing a friend over.

Talk it over with your friend first, let her know that both you and the boy have feelings for eachother and if she get's upset call it off or just go for it, up to you.

she may get mad, but if you two really like each other then go for it. she will just find someone else that she likes just as much or more and forget about it, but until she does, be prepared for her to be upset with you. maybe help her find another boy to be interested in.
