Masturbating to porn and plain masturbation is perfectly normal. I could understand you weren't available to him at the time, as that would be a prefect excuse for masturbation, but you were completely available to him yet he chose to masturbate?
I could understand why you're feeling sad. It's a situation that would make anyone feel unwanted. Communicate with him and tell him how you feel. If this continues to be an ongoing thing then it definitely isn't normal. I mean think about it, what boyfriend would turn down their girl and choose masturbation over real sex? It's just not right. Talk to him hun. Tell him how you feel. He should respect your feelings, and if it continues to happen then I think you've got a problem.
Masturbating to porn is perfectly normal. Guys are much more visually stimulated than girls, therefore they need pornography such as images and videos to get off. But what "isn't" normal, is when a boyfriend starts choosing masturbation over sex with his girlfriend.

Every boy needs some "me time", even sexy time with themselves without a partner. Masturbating takes less sweating and physical activity than actual sex, and sometimes we just don't feel like having sex that day. I don't think he's "bored of you", he just wants to indulge in some self-love, which is perfectly normal. Now, do communicate with him and make sure he's not watching some weird or illegal porn, that would be a concern!

If he says no, then you've got a problem.

Maybe he was just tired. Sex takes more physical effort than masturbating. I don't know. I would have been a little hurt too. Just talk to him, hon. Tell him what you said here and then say "I really miss you."
Then it's time for make-up sex :)

It's ok, I masturbate while my wife sleeps next to me, she doesn't mind. Our $ex life is still good, I prefer $ex to pulling the pud any day but I still enjoy it as I find it a good stress relief
