I dont really understand much of this! My husband and I earned 30364.01 , we always filed joint married, this year we got our first baby so we know have one child for the child credit. Please help!

I would say with the kid and being married and you guys not making all that much money(sorry), I would say a couple thousand dollars. I have always filed as a single man and my income has been similar to half of your total and I have usually recieved about $800 or $900. Being married with one of you filing head of household along with one independent you guys will double or triple that easily.
